This won't fly next game. One playmaker on the floor is death sentence.

Situational D can only take you so far.

This was bad coaching.

They doubled Kyrie every position and what exactly did Curry do?

Royce have to be limited to 3 and D situations. He is bad when asked to do anything else.

Moving forward Sumner and TJ will have to log in 30 min a game. None of these other guys can play make for others.

Curry went 6-9 for 14 pts. That was huge

Well it happened again, we are just cursed given we can't even enjoy a week of clean injury reports before our best player goes down. That was groundhog day with Ben knockin Butler into KD's leg just like Bruce Brown crashed into KD's last season. I don't even think the knock was that bad, if that play happened to Lebron he walks away like nothing happened. This is simply part of the KD experience, he's an otherworldly basketball talent but unfortunately a bit frail.

The only silver lining is at least this happened in January and not April, hope KD comes back healthy for the final stretch and in the meantime we have a chance to scrap out some wins and build on our defensive team orientated identity.

Awesome win. Curry is proving to be huge.

No way we can trade him. I wish Harris could go back to the way he was prior to injury.

Also Royce came up huge. Even when his shot isnt falling he does the little things.

I am very worried about Durant. Hopefully its a minor injury.

But I think hes def out a few games at least. Which is a major bummer because we were on such a roll.

Sucks how we can't ever have a full season with any injuries to our key guys.

Based on Vaughn's comments it didn't seem like KD was seriously injured. He's going to get imaging tomorrow hopefully it comes back clean and he just needs some games off.

I don't care about the Celtics game. The goal is June, not January.

KD hurt his legacy so much with injuries and Nets are cursed…

2021 we would be champion if Giannis didnt hurt KI, last season Kd MCL this looks scary too

2019 KD didnt won 3 in a row cause of injury also

OKC days 2013-2015 always some big injury him rw or ibaka… dude has no luck

I don't think Vaughn knows.

I really depends entirely on the MRI. Last year it didn't look so bad either.

We do have off till Thursday so if its minor maybe KD is ok. I sure hope so.

Vaughn seemed to be in a good mood so hopefully this KD thing is minor.

Best 20 game stretch in franchise history and we can't even enjoy it.

Our offense was trash but our defense held it down. This is what's encouraging about the squad.

You need to fall back because you already took an L multiple times when I exposed you.

At this point I would say Joe is 9th most important team on the team which is very bad…

of thet bench grouo Curry, Yuta and TJ dont like to
say that, but any of them are giving us more than him… he is most replacable of them… TJ is just better player overall, Seth has ball handles better and in this composition of team I feel he is better fit for example like now when KD went down and hard to admit but Yuta gave us more than Joe this season and he is even better 3point shooter this season and it is so crazy to say that… would anyone thought that before season I think no

Also Royce is just much better than him this season…

If I need to make list of importance of players on this team that we can rely on in playoffs now it looks like this to me:

1. kd
2. Ky
3. Nick
4. Ben
5. Royce
6. TJ
7. Seth
8. Yuta
9. JOE
10. Sumner

This youtuber has a fairly good record of diagnosing injuries off game clips. He thinks it's likely a MCL sprain/tear which is 2 weeks - 2 months out depending on severity. So pretty much the exact same injury as last season when Bruce Brown crashed into KD's other leg. From my perspective watching it I thought it was really similar situation to last season too, the positives are 1) it's not the same knee as last time and 2) seemed less severe than last season's one in KD tried to play a few possessions this time before asking out. Makes sense too since Jimmy flew into that knee with less speed and force than Bruce Brown did.

Regardless of that I think we're likely going to be without KD for a while, worst case would a return after the all-star game. Hope we can at least go .500 during this period and maintain our seeding best we can.

The teams gonna drop hard in the standings, any hope of the 1 seed is now gone.

I'm hoping for a 6th seed come playoff time. Play against anyone not named the Celtics

I'm not a doctor, but it didn't look as bad as the Brown/Jones one, but it was also very different (more from behind than from the front. Given the history of our overly cautious medical staff, KD will be out through the all-star break (18 games).

On the bright side, if it is pretty minor, we have a very light week: 3 days off - Celtics - 2 days off - OKC.
