Everyone shoot lights out against the Clippers. Wall is washed.

Minus the shots not going down, this is the best the offense has looked in a few games...ball is moving decently and good opportunities are being created.

Still, need those shots to fall. Defense has been pretty putrid.

Wall isn't it. Idk what is going on with our defense but everyone always shoots lights out against us at the 3.

i'll fully admit that i missed the first quarter, and maybe that starting lineup with mann and no reggie was the answer, but i at least want to say this:

it strikes me that lue still doesn't have such a great idea on how to balance the roster since he started morris with mann, vs starting say batum and reggie. going with the former means you will be forced to have some variation of wall/powell/reggie all together on the floor. had he started batum/reggie then he'd have some legit size options and be able to actually play covington in a more balanced lineup. not that he ever seems to want to do that, at any rate.

Clippers look like a one option team out there. Kawhi only

Otherwise looking like a league bottom feeder

given kawhi's urgency, i kinda get the feeling he might be one of the few (only person?) on this team who understands how important a win right now is to this team.

What kind of inbound pass was that? Get Wall out of there.

We had some good momentum going into the half, then Kawhi got caught ball watching, followed by a dumb TO by Wall..... smh

I don’t know what else to say. Lue lost the team. He doesn’t know what buttons to push.

Wall started out the year good, but has been absolutely putrid. Thank God year 2 is a full Team Option.

I'd ask Milos if he wants to give it another go at this point, his facilitating would provide so many open looks and it's not like Wall plays defense anyway

Problem with this team is clear, Jackson and Morris got paid and they are not chasing that contract. Jackson gets the benefit of the doubt because he has being getting beat while George and Kawhi take days off.

No decent big man outside of Zubac.

Wings such as Covingston, coffey that can defend but cant shoot.

Wall get too many minutes.

This team need size inside, thats the main issue.

It's still a pickup team out there every night. Mann started well then disappeared and is sitting at minus-15 at halftime. There is no magic bullet that's gonna fix this.

The team is constructed and the schemes are designed for Kawhi and PG to play 35 minutes each. Ty has been trying to keep that structure and scheme in place, but night after night, one of them is missing, as well as key rotation pieces Batum and Kennard.

Tonight is just another rotation fustercluck. Mann starts out of position at PG because screw it, let's try to win a game for a change.

I'm all for benching my hero Reggie here. Things are bad. But it's not a solution to what ails us.

mann harrying his man the entire way down the court and then going all the way back for the layup tells you this dude cares

would be nice if others followed suit

that two-man game with kawhi and zubac was really smart and nifty. could use more of that.
