Bojan higher from 3 alone than Brooks' overall, the Pistons already full up on guys that need a little too much luck to find the bottom of the net.

I’m just not high on guys who don’t shoot the ball effectively.

We’ve already got young guys who are trying to find their shots. Rather not get someone who appears that he can’t find it.

I wonder if that percentage goes up if he is a bit more selective? And as much as there is concern about his shooting, I certainly am concerned about our defense as a playoff team - we are not there yet.

If you want the more efficient scorer, the true 3 & D player Grant Williams from the Celtics has the strength to bang down low and he has the agility and mobility to defend wings on the perimeter as well. He's a bit like a 2 inch shorter Beef Stew who mostly just spaces the floor on offense and hits 40+% from deep.

I think Williams ends up signing for closer to $15 to $16 million per year and Brooks ends up signing for closer to $22 - $25 million per year.

I see the problem with Brooks as this:

In Memphis, he plays with one of the league’s rising stars and still manages to chuck like crazy. If he were to sign a big deal to come to Detroit, i can’t see anything stopping him from throwing up even more ill-advised shots. He needs to be on a team with an established star with real leadership and clout, and even then, i don’t know how selective he’ll be. He exudes irrational confidence.

We should give Williams an offer if for no other reason than to jack up his price w the Celtics :D Have I ever mentioned that I hate Boston?

I'm all for this!

Grant Williams seems to be a great guy to target, P.J Washington could be that guy too depending on his mental make up

I'll pay whatever it takes to get him. THESE are the players you need.

I'd take Grant over Dillon, because I'm learning Grant's offense is superior more than Dillon's defense is. Would love both.

I like the comment about jacking up Grant's price to mess with Boston. Also, I like how taking Grant over Dillon would hurt a team in our conference.
