Jalen McDaniels (who I mentioned a month or more ago) makes more sense because he'll be a UFA anyway. You don't risk alienating him by failing to extend the QO, give him a chance to integrate into the team.

McDaniels is actually good at basketball. That's nice.

..... Can we really, truly envision that this team will be fully healthy come playoff-time? And that we'll be ready to compete? None of the deals we're talking about is likely to move the needle otherwise.

.......... Really looks like we should have traded Jae for picks early in the season.

Is Jalen the good one or Jaden?

Jaden (playing for Minnesota) is the good one! Jalen (typical to suns modus operandi) is the lesser brother! But if you really want some fun perspective, compare him to any of Taylor Hendricks, Da'ron Holmes, Noah Clowney, Leonard Miller, Na'Quon Tomlin, Coleman Hawkins in the late first to mid 2nd round draft availability! :D

I thought so. I've heard of Jaden but not Jalen so that might say something. I've also never heard of any of the dudes you just mentioned

Dino players about to be snapped up.

I swear I hear differing stories everyday about them. I go to the Dino board on occasion and they're just as confused as I am lol. They think that FVV and GTJ are gone and not sure about Siakam.

Van Vleet would be interesting and would add some much needed toughness to this team.

On the downside him and Payne might be the worst rim finishing pair of teammates in the league.

might as well call up Michael Redd while we're at it then. Maybe some Vin Baker action?

Would be cool to get one of these young PFs while the whole team is injured so we can let them be semi featured and see if we can find a diamond.

Might as well sign TMac and ****....... give a 10-day to Eddie Johnson while we're at it.

But seriously... Suns should just be signing 10 days and taking chances constantly at this point. F*** it. What we have ain't working...

Last season we signed a bunch of dudes with the wildest names just because we could. We should certainly do the same even if nothing comes of it. Worse comes to worst, you waive and move on. Best case scenario, we get a rotation guy

Remember these names:
Paris Bass
Chandler Hutchinson
Justin Jackson
Emmanuel Terry
MJ Walker
Gabriel Lundberg
"Big Dawg" Ish Wainwright

Fact that we haven't done anything sort of gives me the impression Jones is on a shorter leash than ever

Taylor Hendricks (UCF)

Daron Holmes (Dayton)

(Obviously looking at his stats, he's greatly improved on those areas of improvement with his high motor/ drive).

(There's just not much coverage/ exposure on Tomlin yet, So that's why I added these clips to show skillset/ versatility/ potential).

Coleman Hawkins (Illinois)
https://www.tankathon.com/players/coleman-hawkins

(Basically decent at everything but not elite at anything, a slightly quicker Saric/ But with similar athleticism). Solid mid to late 2nd round swing but all the jumbo wing forwards on my list should be prioritized ahead of him.

We should just play all our young developmental guys. Oh wait, we don't have any of those.

They'd still need a guard replacement for him right?? So just do something like Crowder/ Shamet/ Payne for Van Vleet/ Achiuwa?
OR
Crowder/Shamet/ Saric/ Payne for Van Vleet/ Trent Jr/ 23' 2nd (for helping the raps clear significant cap space this summer! :D

It's funny, some random fan creates an "NBA Central" twitter account, some other fan creates a website called AHN Fire Digital (maybe same guy) and then it refers to an actual source (TSN), and the full quote is...

By all accounts, the team’s decision makers – led by president Masai Ujiri and general manager Bobby Webster – have yet to definitively commit to a path. It seems increasingly unlikely that they would be looking to buy, given how the first half of the season has gone, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll operate as aggressive sellers either.

Currently, they don’t appear to be shopping any of their core players, according to multiple league sources, but they do seem willing to listen to offers.

“They’re keeping their options open,” as one source described their process, which means they also haven’t ruled out anything.

That's full context. I think most teams are typically willing to listen to offers for their players unless they are at top of the standings, but even then.

I can't remember Masai trading a really good player since he traded DeRozan for Masai. Will be interesting to see which way they go. There is a good chance they get a pretty high pick even if they stand pat, and it seems like Masai is more of Bird in the Hand guy.
