luka gets trounced, gives up the ball, literally lays on the floor (to complain i guess? lol)

kawhi goes and scores a 3

i mean man, luka is gonna be one of the greatest of all time but i am glad i'm not forced to be a fan of him.

i know that PG isn't playing but having batum/kawhi/covington/morris/mann on the floor together is a reasonable facsimile of what i think all of us were hoping to see ever since the covington/powell trade.

five really annoying wings moving all over the floor making life awful for the other team

covington randomly slapping the ball away from luka has got to be SO FREAKING OBNOXIOUS lol

if lue says either tonight or sometime later down the line that covington was never going anywhere but they just really were trying to find a way to integrate reggie and see if the 3-guard lineups were viable, i'd believe him. not that i'd be happy that it took this long, but i'd believe him. dude is just showing how insanely valuable he is right now with the right guys on the floor.

...then he should be fired immediately. That would almost be more infuriating than the alternative explanation that he's just incompetent.

game's certainly not over and i think it is easy to overreact but

yeah, if there's gonna be a turning point in the season it's this game. the one thing we've wanted to see since last year was how kawhi could play with covington and powell supporting him. well, here we are now and it's looking quite strong.

Not sure why we stopped doubling Luka. Allowing him go iso against MMSr just won't work for us.
