JV went for offense but it was dumb because Kyrie kept playing 1v5 wither way.

He ain't 100 yet. He just don't have that bounce speed.

Will be issue later in a season.

How 6's doing ?

Harden ain't Harden we know either from what I've seen

Thats biggest thing with him. Watch old sixers highlights he used to exploded of the ground make or miss. His barley has any lift now on drives. We only in trouble with him if continues to not have his explosiveness later in the season like nearing playoffs.

They got continuity going.

We ain't there yet for multiple reasons.

We need a combo PF/C and a coach. JV just gave us glimpse of what mediocre coach can do with this team. Snyder, Borega or Ime need to happen.

That's why you don't jump out the window when things going right way for a quick minute. NBA is a marathon where things will get exposed.

Give them props. They better team right now.

A lot can and will change later in a season come PO. But we know what is wrong with this team.

Kyrie is 9-24 FG and had so many disgusting no pass possessions. I can't watch this team if this is the offense while KD is out.

Ben will get all the attention but KAI is just nowhere close to being a #1 type of player.

I don’t blame Marks for going for a third star now. This game sadly proves why Harden at his peak was valuable. That third scorer in Harden kept
Kyrie’s inefficiency in check. Kyrie was never a second option but a third. I’m all for a Kuzma or Siskam. We all know Simmons isn’t gonna score nor will he look to score

Basically everyone came through and did their part except for Kyrie. He needs to be better with KD out. He gets way more erratic when KD isn't with the team. His body language out there wasn't great.

We'll do better next time.

He can't play without Ben on the court. Something Kokoskov did consistently, played Kyrie and Ben at the same time when KD was available.

They had no answer today. TJ looking like he still recovering and Ben has no speed to attack the rim.

It's about timing now.

You can see that when you compare TimeBoy vs Nic. One looked like monster, another needs time to get his feet right.

That's game right there.

So many dumb overreactions.

First game without KD and against an elite team. Give it a rest.

Lets see how the next few games go.

We played better than I thought we would of, we kept it close. I had this penciled as a lost anyway, it's just too much to ask for a KD less team to beat the best team in the NBA right now. But I'm glad we fought and didn't fold. And the refs were on some BS this game, we did not get the whistles they got in the 4th.

Ben really need to look for his shots it's ridiculous at this point, I mean all he has to do his just bang it off the backboard while he's 5 feet away and standing at 6'10. Develop a floater, a Tim Duncan shot off the backboard, I mean anything at this point. How are you an NBA player and don't even work on a shot is beyond me. Anyway, keep it together and move on.

Harden had 24 points 15 assists tonight . Coming off back to back triple double doubles in the last three games. Harden is averaging 22 points 11 assists 7 boards this season.

Once upon a time they couldn’t beat us my friend; rides turn. Nets need to recover and turn the tides back; Celtics made a boat load of addition by subtraction moved and also traded for pieces that help them immensely. Ime took them from the crapper and turned them into a juggernaut. First real game without KD, roles change and it takes time to adjust to life without the best player in the world. This Boston game proved Nets NEED a third impactful scoring player against Boston. With Harden in 21, we manhandled them and they were considered pretenders until we spiraled downward, Nets still have the two seed and an opportunity to make some moves. Will they remains to be seen

simmons needs a lot more post touches in the half court - either to shoot or pass. he's a zero in the half court otherwise.

This blokes career has gone from 'will he ever learn to shoot 3's?" to "will he ever shoot again?"

For all of you cap folks, NBA trade minds, what is a realistic trade for Brooklyn to acquire OG Anunoby or Siakam from Toronto?

Not even sure if that type of trade is feasible, but I feel like it is going to take a player like them added to Brooklyn for the Nets to really overthrow the Celtics from the top.

One thing Vaughn can fix is the over helping and poor rotation. We gave up a lot of open corner threes after weak double attempts at the top of the arc.

Yeah Kyrie was bad tonight.

Either way, I'm not upset. We needed to have this game to see where we're at. We're not there yet.
