It was a poor tackle. He can't complain about a 3 match ban.

It was 17m (11m plus 6m salary) for 20 matches. that's now become 17m for 16.5 matches.

Ok lets talk about Man United. Big derby coming vs City - if they win can they realistically challenge for a title? Seems like they are playing better and better since Ronaldo drama ended. Or are they still not ready?

Bruh, I'm hoping for a point. :P
That said, Casemiro, Martinez and Varane have really provided a good backbone for the team. And Ten Hag is getting us going in the right direction. There are a tonne of games left to be played, so sure, getting 3 points from City (oh my) means we can challenge mathematically. But baby steps my man.

And holy **** Rashford.

And with Wout Weghorst on his way a european/domestic triple looks a certainty.

well, Man U wasted 3 great chances in first half and you can't do that against team of City quality. Kind of sucks as they played as well as you can vs Man City in first half and now they are down 0-1. Will see if they can come back.

Kind of turns my stomach as an Arsenal fan to stick up for City -- either of these teams really -- but I'd be pretty pissed if I were in their shoes after the first goal. From the FA rule book, offsides infractions include:

challenging an opponent for the ball, or clearly attempting to play a ball which is close when this action impacts on an opponent, or making an obvious action which clearly impacts on the ability of an opponent to play the ball

Rashford showed a ton of discipline to not pounce on the ball himself, but hard to see how that didn't qualify.

Side note: It's good to see other leagues also have incredibly convoluted rule books. I didn't think anyone could top the NFL's rules on what is and isn't a catch, but offsides is right up there.

What a comeback. City did not deserve to win after managing just one shot on target. Ten Hag outsmarted Guardiola in this one.

Ten Hag is the business, United have improved massively

Rarely see City flummoxed like that

Definitely, night and day. Outrageously shtty decision aside, they were pretty clearly the better team today IMO.

Yeah, I don't know how it wasn't offside but I'll take it. United! United! United!

Yeah after watching replay I would agree that Rashford certainly had influence on the play despite not touching the ball. Had he stopped right away and not chased it it would be different story.

Definitely should have been offsides

What are the odds Rodgers, Lampard and Moyes all get sacked this week?
