Are you serious right now? This team wasn’t even in a chance of winning and got demolished without Wall and the bench.

I think it’s plain to see that the Clippers are about as good as our record shows. All of that talk about how deep & how good we were gonna be needs to be forgotten. It was just a projection anyway.

That was obvious from the beginning of the season with how old and slow our team has looked compared to all the younger, more dynamic actual contenders around the league. I remember saying early on that Frank built the deepest team of 2015 in 2022.

It's the final years of Lob City all over again. We're once again jogging in place while the rest of the league sprints past us. Next time, we need to patiently build with a young core instead of trying to rush our way to contention like we did with the original CP3 trade and then Kawhi/PG.

Last season was lightning in a bottle the way our roll players carried us to some amazing wins all year without PG & Kawhi. Overachieving practically every game. That’s impossible to maintain in this league so here we are at 500

Doesn’t mean we can’t hold them accountable or expect more. I want wins every game but getting pretty used to disappointment

And we saw it early in the season too. Those back to back OKC losses made sense even when I saw it live. The team just wasn't that good period. Losing at Detroit and throwing in the towel only to miraculously come back by the back end of our bench. We all knew something was wrong but the "its still early" , "games in Oct & Nov don't count", and "Ty Lue is still experimenting and tinkering" chants and things to say to help us sleep better at night took off to further cloud our judgement. I'm still hoping we can get PG & Kawhi on the court together and Ty figures out the role players and maybe we can still be able to turn this thing around. Either way I'm not losing sleep over this team anymore. It is what it is.
