Game 42: Sixers @ Jazz - Wooder Ice vs. Jell-O
Happy weekend, y'all! Finally, a legit West Coast trip to test this team's mettle. This Jazz team has been a good surprise this year - and with Mike Conley playing (Lauri a GTD), this is gonna be an interesting test.
As a side note, I hope we don't trade Jaden (based on the wiretap report); he's like the only guard on our team other than Melt who can defend really well without much fouling (sorry, Tisse....but you're kinda who you are at this point).

Hopefully we can get a win tonight....Maybe keep some of trollclowns from the town a Troglodyte away for the evening. God knows, the ones that truly follow this team could use a break from that.

Yep get what you can I guess, hopefully a pick and an expiring would do. Not expecting much come deadline (but obviously the team list needs a lot of work.)
We sunk Thybulle, Reed, Milton’s and Springer’s trade value
I seriously believe we can’t be this bad on management on purpose lol.
There was rumours about Reddish which makes sense money wise.

Maybe we're all trolls? Who knows? I just want to see us get a win tonight. We can do it if we exactly what we did last time against them. PnR with Harden and Embiid, Embiid goes to work of Lauri...Should be a good game.

Fans aside owners can do what they like. Some owners literally dgaf and a sports franchise is just a collection thing/status symbol.
It’s a completely different perspective.
Bayern Munich is a rare example whereby the people have the power and they are a godly powerhouse team. Ain’t a correlation of course but there maybe something there.
If we had the team control we’d win chips starting from Kawhi onwards. Even if we are crazy sometimes lol

Re: Game 42: Sixers @ Jazz - Wooder Ice vs. Jell-O
Well, if you don't want to watch the game, here's how it's going to go tonight...
During the first quarter, we'll keep it close, maybe even jump out to an 8 or 9 point lead. Towards the end the quarter though, the Jazz will get hot. Jordan Clarkson will hit some deep bombs followed by a couple from Mike Conley. At that point Collin Sexton will come off the bench and start to destroy us as well. Sixers 31 Jazz 30 after the first quarter.
The second quarter will begin with a flurry of threes from the Jazz. Even Kelly Olynyk will get in on the action. Walker Kessler will crash the boards on the offensive end creating second chance points for Utah. Meanwhile Collin Sexton will continue to carve us up in the second. Ochai Agbaji will make a cameo for Utah as well by making a few plays in the second quarter. We'll all look at him and think "man...it'd be nice to have him on our roster." The Jazz will jump out to a 16 point lead at which point Doc will re-insert Joel Embiid. However...Walker Kessler is going to give him a hard time and scoring will not come easy for him. We'll trim the lead on a couple George Niang bombs, but it will quickly balloon back up to 16 after a couple of Maxey turnovers and a few heavily contested, forced, Shake shots...For the final remaining two minutes of the half, we'll simply trade baskets with Utah making the game an offensive battle. Jazz 69 Sixers 54 at the half.
Third quarter we will make our push, but PJ Tucker will miss an open three and follow it up with an and1 three on the other end trying to guard Lauri Markannen. This will eventually swell the Jazz lead back to 12 in what proves to be a seven point swing in a matter of 10 seconds. This will infuriate all of us and Doc will be forced to pivot to Thybulle who will inadvertently do the same exact thing trying to guard Jordan Clarkson. Clarkson at this point will have nailed 9 threes and Alaa and Kate will talk about how amazed they are at the way he is shooting the ball. "Looks like it's Jordans night Kate, not quite the Jordan that I played against though, but he's doing a great impersonation haha". The joke will land flat for those who actually watched MJ play because he never hit nine threes in a game. Jazz 97 Sixers 79 after three quarters.
The fourth quarter will see us make a mini run, but a phantom foul call on the other end will derail it for us. Collin Sexton will be driving to the basket and throw up a mid range prayer that goes in while being tightly defended by D'Anthony Melton. Melton will barely touch the index finger of Sexton, but a late whistle will sound and Collin will sink the and1 free throw bringing the lead back to 11. It will be a play Doc should have challenged...But didn't. At this point Doc will bring Embiid back into the game in hopes of a late rally. On the first play Embiid will throw the ball out of bounds and the Jazz will retain possession. Jordan Clarkson will nail his 10th three of the game to bring the lead back up to 14. Kate will remind us all that there is plenty of time left "but we have to get stops." A few possessions later we have the lead back to 10, but James Harden will drive out of control to the basket and gets his shot swatted by Walker Kessler for the 7th time in the game. He'll crash to the floor with his legs splaying outward as if he was in "happy baby pose" while he begs for a foul call! Meanwhile Mike Conley leads a fastbreak down the other end and hits Lauri Markannen in the corner for a wide open three that he sinks with ease. The lead goes back to 13 at that point and frustration and aloofness will set in with us. Jo will pout and hold his knees and limp back to the bench, Harden will act like he doesn't care anymore, Shake will get garbage time points, we'll all complain about Maxey, Tobias will totally ghost us tonight, Doc will shake his head as if to say "I told you so"... The game will end with the Jazz prevailing on their own floor. Jazz 129 Sixers 116. Good times!

I don't care much about the result, but I'll be watching how Embiid destroys Jazz again!

That feels a little harsh.
They're sitting right at the tax line, and enter repeater status if they go over. It would seem kinda silly not to get back under the tax if there's not a deal on the table to improve the team.
If it comes out that they passed up on a deal in favor of that option, sure, roast away.

Looking good... We always do to start the game. Up ten, but that 27 point swing is looming. Really, we just have to stay hot. No Lauri tonight, we should be able to take this.
