I may get a few of the simpler trades in tonight but don't expect all of the moves until tomorrow afternoon if the rest of the PM's look like the first one I opened.

On the bright side…we still get to see some moves tonight Hopefully it was just the first PM

It would be a time like this that I would miss the elegant and powerful search engine of Lotus Notes. Dump them all in a notes flat database. Search by subject line, example, " must have pacers or indy, gsw or warriors, cleveland or cavaliers in the subject line. Check the box for "not case sensitive". Create another data file and name it Indy, Golden State, Cleveland trade. Dump those in it.

Do that and I think it would speed up the process while also finding the errors in both subject and text. If they don't at least have the subject line correct, reject and send them a pm notifying the teams, once submitted correctly, they are at the back of the order again. Its hard but fair. You are costing other teams and the commish game time and/or home time.

So going through my PM's and first thing I see is I have 25 different teams who have sent in PM's in the past 24 hours. Also, the first trade PM I opened had a trade advertised as a three team trade and there are multiple players in the trade who are on none of the three teams listed. This is going to take a long while to unravel all of these PM's and figure out how players moved from one team to the next to wherever they finally land since teams submitted their trades out of order. Sorry to hear that Bish. All I’m wondering is how can we all help you. Would sending our final projected roster after trades help? That would at least allow you to see everyone’s final landing spot. Also totally up to you, but maybe there should be a 24 hour freeze. Sounds like a lot to manage. On behalf of all us of….

Honestly, after reading another 10 or so PM's I'm not even sure this can be done. Every trade is so dependent on other trades that can't be done without other teams moves who are dependent on that initial team. There are teams who need another teams third trade to go through before their second one goes through but their first one is dependent on a different teams trade. Give me FA any day over this mess .

I think it's quite a simple fix in terms of making it easier for you and that's us marking trades via PM title that should be able to be done right away and isn't predicated on anything else or prior trades. I just double checked both of my trades and I'm pretty sure all of the players involved are currently on the roster with the teams and should be good to go.

Although I guess I'm not sure about any picks involved if they're predicated upon other trades other than my own.

Both of my trades I submitted were with original player-teams. I was waiting to submit a follow up trade until the first trades cleared.

I agree that Dray is a win now piece. But he could go to a very smart young team that will keep him as their defensive anchor, or flip him for something more to his team fit.

Like was posted earlier, the 15th is only one day. There is like 40 more that will be used to work out deals.

Oh I agree...once the dust settles with all these moves...maybe other deals will present themselves.

What started this was Context post. He put Okongwu in bold text. Which is more to his timeline. You are right on both players. A 20 to 30 pick as the best asset, will not sniff either of these two players.

I say let's just start over. Erase all trades. We resubmit. In the title thread put if it's a straight trade or dependent on other moves. In the message, list what the other moves are, if possible. I think once we get all the straight trades out the way, Bish can begin working on other moves.

I think the issue is not on your end. But maybe one or two of the guys you traded were traded a 2nd time by the original team you were dealing with.

And the 3rd team was the first person to PM bish...that would be a clusterf*ck. So bish opens the 1st PM and the guys in that PM aren't even on there current teams.

Not at all caused by you but the trading of players that weren't even officially announced by the original trades is probably what is causing bish major issues unless its part of a grouped multi team deal.

But my guess is that certain teams only had there portions of the deals agreed to and don't know the big picture as bish says its like a yarn ball he has to unwind to find the original trade that sets off everything since the PM's didn't come to him in order.

In other words clusterf*ck

i dont know if the other gm traded my players so i cant say. i just wanted to point out my trade was straight up in case it makes it easier for bish

trading a traded player before the first trade is announced (unless its connected to a clean multi team trade). So like its clear to bish where the player started with his original team and where he is going. So point A to point B for a specific player.

I think he is opening up the 1st PM and he is seeing point D...but has no idea what happened with point A to B and B to C for that to happen.
