Defense w/o Maxi, Doe Doe and Green is 2021 Mavs, and you have to outscore opponents.
McGee...
Kidd, Luka had no business playing, or at least playing 36 minutes, just poor management, Pinson also shouldn't play.

The good:
Bullock lookef confident, 1st time this season.

What happened to Wood actually? Rest? It is disappointed we wasted so much money and roster spots on useless players, that cant score and cant defense.

Oh it's a mess, and Cuban slept walk right into it, but it's not worth rehashing at this point.
Wood rolled his ankle, he needed recovery, would've made sense to rest the starters another day and go all in on today's game instead of yesterday's, I'm not sure what led to this decision, maybe Luka insisted.
Dallas defense is a tricky thing, with Maxi, Bullock, DFS and Powell you constantly have 4 switchable defenders, who rotate and recover all over the place, and covered for the 2 weak links (2 of Luka, Brunson and Dinwiddie), Brunson isn't actually bad staying in from of player, he's just short, once you lost 2 of them in the lineup, and add Dinwiddie who has horrible defensive awareness, and unmotivated Luka, this will be a very bad defensive team, having Bullock as a good perimeter defender means nothing, and lack of rim protection makes every blow by very costly.

Win= spend Money.

I don't think Cuban wants it at all... He thinked that Luka + cheap role players were enough. He wrong.

Now he has a no where team with huge payroll

Luka wasn't into this game at all. Don't know what was the point of playing him in a B2B after LAL game if he's tired.

Missing layups, close shots... Made Shaq look like a pro from the FT line again. How does a guy like him go 1/6  Zero focus.

Bullock raising his trade value exactly in the right moment, what a guy!

Even "Locked on Mavericks" which is pretty easy going, always praising podcast had a depressing podcast today, I usually don't bother listening but the title was very surprising, what is the plan? And if there was none, why did Luka play? If the team is this thin, why was Kemba released? his 1M guarantee was too much for Cuban to swallow? How do you justify playing Luka and Spencer after 50+ minutes in a game you had no business winning?
Bad vibes are coming out from both the FO and coaching staff...

I'll say what I did yesterday. If there was a chance of Wood playing why not rest players game 1 and go hard game 2?

Mavs starting with 3 mostly useless Players(frank,Powell,Reggie) on O...how the hell did they mess up the roster construction this badly...the sad thing is most of these Players are under contract for at least another year..there's really nothing they can do this year to brimg somebody usefull in,and even next year they,'re gonna have a hard time building a contender

Lillard is playing back to backs but Luka isn’t?

Tired of this ****. He had no business playing 36min yesterday to begin with. I already disliked Kidd before he became the head coach and now I just can’t stand him.

Bertans has to be up there for worst in the league at boxing out for a guy 6'10" and above. Literally has no idea how to.

That Pinson spin and turnover was seriously pathetic.

Lillard completely wrecking Bullock in every way.

Oh well, this game is over.

Was a 3 point game with ~10 mins left. Then Blazers scored 32 points in the next 6 mins. Terrible.

1-4 on the road trip. 2-5 in last seven. Was hoping for better performance.

Second half of regular season will keep getting tougher too.

Finally the legend of "Bullock" great defender stopped,he is above average at max and completely useless on the offense if he doesn't lights out for 3.

Anyway 0-5 without Doncic.
Thank you Cuban, you still remain the most stupid owner in the world.

On the plus side, this is what I've been saying by developing Hardy. I'd much rather give him the reigns on an NBA court than Gleague or wasting minutes on roster fodder like Pinson, Wright, Bullock, etc.

Ntilikina too.

I will give minutes to AJ over those scrubs.

Spencer played 51 minutes Thursday, 33 minutes yesterday and 35 minutes today, please, have some thought behind your rotation, Mavs have a lot of B2Bs still, this can't repeat, team is short in talent as it is...

Whoever thought playing a tired Doncic on one day and semi injured Wood on the next day, should be fired right now. Kidd is not a head coach material, we all know that but whoever agreed to this fiasco at such a high pro sport level, should be let go.

Instead of giving yourself a chance of going at least 1-1 with Wood and Luka playing together in the 2nd game and then having another 2-3 days rest before Hawks game, Mavs "brilliant" decision was to split their games. What a moronic group of people Mavs have at the highest places.
