I want him badly, more so when we were playing better. Still think he'd make us better at both ends even though not a floor spacer.

It's going to be frustrating to see him go and put Boston or another contender over the top

poeltl is vastly overrated on this board. if he was so good, how come the spurs want to trade him. other point is, he's a FA. are you willing to overpay to keep him in the summer cause he's looking for a payout too.

this is poor logic. Spurs are clearly tanking and are better served by moving him for assets. He's not elite but he's good enough to move the needle for a contender.

poeltl will be a bench big for any contender; in no way shape or form he's a 'needle mover'.
there have no rumors of any of our players being shopped(no specific trade rumors). The only reason trent might be moved is the same reason spurs moved on from murray and now poeltl. as a tanking and rebuilding team, they don't want to be on the hook for his contract next year.

how so? taking on a washed up lowry for an extra year for 30M. Its much better for Miami as it gets them off the hook for one of the worst contracts in the league right now. I suppose the twolves might be desperate enough to do it to get an extra couple of wins.

Don't know him, just watched a rookie highlight video which looked good. Plays bigger than listed height. How does he compare to Achiuwa?

I thought Precious took a step back before his ankle injury but since his return he's looking better every game. More of a swing guy between 4 and 5, I'd like to see him sub for OG more to cover the same stars and keep OG a bit fresher

That might be a bit premature, he's a big guard who can't shoot, like a smaller Simmons. Obviously not saying that who his game mirrors, but his shot needs a lot of work before I'd put "future star" tag on him.

Scottie has lapses, but he does a lot of things very well for such a young player and it began in his rookie year, hence rookie of the year. Daniels definitely has upside, but he's pretty raw and hasn't shown nearly as much as Scottie did in his rookie year.
