Pritchard and Davison are obviously expendable. The Celtics are loaded at guard, especially if you consider they guys in Maine (Valentine, Baldwin) plus Madar and Begarin.

Nobody does.
Madar and Begarin are both decent prospects. Valentine was a first round pick. And all three are playing well.

If Sed Bey is considered a Bust by some.. It has way more to do because Detroit tried to make a role playing 3 and D type into a scorer. He never had that type of game. For what Boston needs (3 and D type) who has enough size and switch-ability, I certainly would Kick the tires..

at the same price tag it's Bey> Burkes for me.

That and the fact that he can't play D or shoot threes, in addition to all the other things he can't do.
He's shooting .355 from the three and around 33% if you take away the COVID-19 year without the crowd. 98% of his threes are assisted.

Keita Bates-Diop from San Antonio might be a good pickup for a 2nd round pick. Makes $1.8 million on an expiring. Played with DWhite so Stevens would have some extra intel.

Imagine adding Bey and Naz Reid to the squad we already have in place?

I don't know that he ends up here, but, he looks like a good trade candidate... and he's a tough guy for them to trade. MIN needs some level of backup center back, they are doubtful to take much money back (and don't have many other contracts to trade), and he doesn't make much money to match with.

Plus they need help on the wing and the back court.

Kornet could be a pretty good option for them.

Are we allowed to trade Gallo's contract after getting an exception for him?

If so it does seem like a realistic trade for us is to trade Gallo, Kornet, and a first for Poeltl.

Just an extremely strong upgrade to our backup Center position in size and rim protection (but still can't rebound and isn't that great).

Could be a vital size to have but also have it in a player that doesn't suck rocks like Kornet to matchup against Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, as we saw with the Clippers Zubac.

Seems worth it for so many of our realistic important playoff matchups.

More "Utah wants a first to take John Collins' contract" rumors out there, on the WT.

This doesn't make sense at all, the Hawks must really like the players they're getting back from Utah for the fit.

That's the issue with no superteams, every team think they're the Celtics of last year.

Just a couple role players and we're in the Finals!

One upset guy off the team and we're in the Finals!

Collins is a 25 year old PF who not too long ago had a 20/10 season shooting 50/40/80 with 1.5 blocks due to his athleticism.

Maybe he'll never be an allstar or someone you throw the ball to in order to generate offense but the potential is there for this guy to be a very high level starter for at least the next 5 years.

Who's been on the block longer than any guy in the league. He is basically a bad contract at this point imo.

Isn't the cap going up?

I consider a 25 year old signed for 4 years to be in my benefit as a team unless I'm a team in NYC or CA or FL who can sign superstars for free with cap space.

I know he's paid as much as Horford is right now. But honestly I think that's market value at least.

Again he's got the same issue as like a Smart or something. You're never giving him the ball to build an offense around. He plays a role in a starting lineup. But that doesn't mean he's not a very good starting player and when he plays with talent around him you're very happy to have him.

But idk... He'd look awfully good next to Smart, Jaylen Brown, Tatum, and Rob for the next 5 years.

(before anyone asks it's impossible we trade for him we'd have to trade Horford and we're not doing that after resigning him.)
