Holy crap, your telling me that was an offensive foul? It wasn't offensive foul music.
I knew Shaq could not use his 2001 moves in the 1960s because the would pick up 6 offensive fouls in 5 minutes but I could not see a foul in that video. Rules were strictly enforced. Maybe if the video was better I might see something but it must have been very subtle because replaying the video 4 times did not help me see what they called a foul.

We have more such examples on video. Would you like to see them?

Sure. I think 1960s reffereeing is interesting. The offensive and defensive fouls. The palming and Traveling.
Maybe Wilt hooked a little with his off arm. I could not see what his off arm was doing. Scratch that, I could see his off arm and it was not hooking. And he isn't even backing in. It is a phantom call to my eyes.
The defender looks a little pushed by the way he stumbles back but that might just be the defender jumping back to avoid a defensive foul call. I don't see a push.

Wilt Chamberlain
Jerry West
Norm Van Lier

I know we have a fantastic 4th Quarter from Game 7 of the 1969 FinalsSpoiler:
...and there's the 2nd half of Game 4 of the 1967 Eastern Conference FinalsSpoiler:
... but I'd love to see if anyone has any other games from 1960s Wilt!
Sure, that would be great!70sFan wrote:DraymondGold wrote:Does anyone know if there are any full Quarters/Halves/Games of Peak or near-Peak Wilt?

Not a lot of broadcasted 1960s Wilt games exist online right now. Are you interested in some silent tapes as well? If so, I have quite a lot and I can post them here.
