I think Suggs would cost a first. If we could get him for fred, I am
driving fred to the airport.Suggs needs a change of scenery anyway. Too many guards in Orlando.

I am undecided on Suggs for a first (could be worth it) but I do not want Cole Anthony AT ALL. He would ruin this team.

Fair: I haven’t seen much of him, just figured he’s the guard you can get from the magic without picks being attached.

My dream deadline would be moving FVV, Thad, and Boucher in deals and somehow getting back Poeltl, shooting, and a bit of depth.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

I think what's missing in all of this is that the Magic can just sign him outright instead of doing a sign and trade.

The Shams reporting on interest in Poeltl and Bojan makes me nervous. Seems like band-aid solutions. Hopefully the interest wasn't recent.

My faith in the FO is crumbling by the day lol.

I'm going to be sick if we trade GTJ for Bojan.

Depending on the price of Bojan I would love him here. A guy who is an actual sniper would be such a nice change of pace for this team. Sure he is a bit older but I would have to think having some quality teammates would be good for guys like Barnes to develop

We're legitimately doomed.
This FO still clinging on to the false hope of Fred reverting back to his "All-Star" ways and the team makes a complete 180.

Assistant GM on Raptors: “They’ve told teams they’re going to do something”

Post#510 » by Scott Hall » Tue Jan 17, 2023 3:55 pm

Read on Twitter

There are decisions coming in Toronto. There are decisions to be made across the NBA, but plenty of front offices will hold their cards in this months-long game of poker and never let go. It appears clear the Raptors, who have been reluctant to ante in recent seasons, won’t choose to stay silent before the Feb. 9 trade deadline sounds.

“What they’re not gonna do is be in the middle,” said one Western Conference executive.

“They’ve told teams they’re going to do something,” said an assistant general manager.

Shams also said the Suns and Magic have emerged as potential free agent suitors of VV.

Nothing really new. Just a rehash of the names we've heard before the season.

Nothing wrong with waiting until the last day to see what the best offers are. Deadlines make deals

Suns would have to work some cap magic if they want to simply sign FVV this summer.

Slashing Chris Paul's partially guaranteed contract won't be nearly enough. They'd have to dump other contracts.

Or they could shove Ayton down our throats in a sign and trade.

I love how vague this is.

Please don't deal our 1st rounder this year...

Get ready for Gary being traded for a vet that can't shoot and a 2nd, and team compete will rationalize and say it was a great trade.

It seems like the same articles including the same names are just rehashed every few days, just by different reporters.
