Speaking of MLK, I had my first raptors dream the other day. I think it was my first sports dream ever, pretty crazy as I've been a sports fan all my life with Jay's and Leafs. Dreamt the other night we won the lottery and there was nothing but jubilation and pandemonium on realgm with Wemby threads celebration lol. Pretty crazy how important the raptors and realgm is to my life haha.

oh gawd

if they traded Scottie it better be for a superstar. anything like a Vince Carter return, i would boycott the Raptors for a season or two.

With all the trade rumours coming out, it sounds like if anything this team is mind-numbly looking to upgrade smh so personally until I actually see a big trade that shocks in the other direction (tanking), I think time to let go of what was a sweet (attainable) dream. We're probably gonna end up drafting somewhere from 12-16th.

This team is not about guts or glory lol they rather play it safe, so just have to come to terms with it, sorry boys.

So assuming we don't trade the pick all together (and Lord please not something as stupid as for Poeltl), it's time to focus on names like Whitehead, Lewis, Jett, Terquavion and I'll just pray that Baba isn't a bust but just doesn't get a chance to show what he can do then we draft a steal lol but it's sounding like the dreams of very attainable top 6-8 pick seem on the verge of extinction.

With today's news from Shams/Fischer, Masai is basically keeping the league guessing. It will all depend how the next few weeks go.

I mean sure if you wanna keep some hope alive lol

But really we've been rumoured to be after a C for 3 years now & majority of the names are all guys that have come to the end of the road with each franchise. My honest guess is that they're trying to either A) heavily protect our FRP (top 15 for Turner - 20 for Poeltl) or B) find a 3rd team to bring in a pick (or two) for Gary then re-direct it (ie/ picks from NYK) to one of SAS or IND...or they are weighing should they be the ones to add any to get Ayton.

Those are the ONLY real trade rumours that have given any insight to what our FO is looking to GET in any trades. Nothing that has come out is about us looking to go younger, rebuild etc other than media (and ofc some fans) wondering why we wouldn't. Meanwhile again it's reinforcing our desire to get a C which is what local media & some impatient fans have been crying for awhile now. The fact they HAVEN'T already made the move to reinforce the tank seems to show their priorities aren't the draft but rather as they believe "sorting out what they have" because they're overly bought into these guys.

I know the Burks/Clarkson idea is a joke but trading our 1st for Poeltl would have that effect on me lol & it's a real danger to happen. There would just be no words for how awful of a trade that would be (like Thad x10), almost ironically like when the Knicks traded their lotto pick for Bargnani.

This year might be our last real shot at tanking because Scottie is just getting exponentially better and by his third year idk if we can lose enough.

Playing the Bucks without Giannis playing is just bad luck.

No way the FO looks to upgrade this roster losing in the clutch against the Bucks B team lol. Thats also with us playing the F out of our starters
