I dont think the sixers have enough 2way players on the roster. Not a fan of Doc but it seems to be a struggle with when and who to play with who. At the end of close games it seems there's always a sacrifice that has to be made depending on the 5th player.

Harden
Maxey(small defensive target)
Tobi
Pj(defender but offers no rim protection and is outrebounded due to age and size)
Biid

Harden
Melton(takes away Maxey scoring, speed and rim attack ability ; which can be crucial in close game)
Tobi
PJ(see above)
Biid

Harden
Maxey
Melton(small for a wing, playing Maxey and Melton together is a normal size scoring guard or wings heaven)
Tobi
Biid

Harden
Maxey
Matisse(defensive disruptor/offensive liability)
Tobi
Biid

Harden
Melton
Niang(best shooter/offers nothing defensively, reb)
Tobias (paired with niang decrease in speed lol)
Biid

Check how the Heat dealt with it. Also consider that offense is OP and some of our guys can play hard on defense in crunch time.

We’re 2nd in DRtg in crunch time at 93DRtg. The problem is we’ve been bad on offense.

Until im guessing.. the recent two games?

Lowry = Harden
Herro = Maxey
Butler = Melton
Tucker = Tucker
Struss = Tobias
Bam = Biid

Lowry is a better defender than Harden even if he is smaller...he's a smarter more engaged defender. PJ is washed. Herro didn't start for them. Jimmy is bigger and better defender than Melton (when he gives a **** tbf) AND Spo is a better coach than Doc.

Thats a big difference

And yet Harden is prime Gobert on defense compared to Maxey, how sad is that?

It's Hardens IDGAF attitude on defense that makes Maxey look even worse than he is.

PJ and Tobi - bad pair
Harden and Maxey - bad pair

Nets fan coming in peace. How do you guys feel about the Sixers? If Embiid and Harden can stay healthy and Harden continues to rebound, as he looks to have been doing so far, from last season's struggles, you guys have a real shot to go far this year. My Nets are dealing with the KD injury and who knows how our record will go, Kyrie will also be out. It will be interesting to see how the East unfolds by March. It seems like you guys have had a lot of injuries with Maxey, Harden and Embiid and now we have to taste the same medicine; you guys may have caught the injuries at the right time while we caught it at the wrong time. Nonetheless, I really think you guys have a good shot this year to potentially make the ECF.

As far as Benny goes, he isn't panning out well for us and is extremely passive. I can totally see where the outrage was with this guy.

I tend to believe NOW that we’re playing the season at the pace we want the entire time. Im back to being hyped about this team right now. I think i have some peace with how this style the team is playing with (which i post in the “basic instructions before watching a sixers game”)

I still think Nets can make it to atleast ECF. One of the top on both offense and defense. And personally, the best team in crunch time.

Ben is ben. We are kind of tired of criticizing him already.
