Who knows man. Would we be mad at another Ibaka/Tucker type of deadline move? I’d rather tank but wouldn’t be mad at that.

We traded a first, 2 seconds in both those deals respectfully.
Yes I would be upset with those type of deals for a team that has a losing record.

God willing this will be the last season we have to watch 2 players who wouldn't be a 1st option on any other playoff team be a first option for us.

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
As I said in the game thread, we are 7-7 since that low point "Holy **** we stink moment" when he hit 13-18.
Without some changes to the lineup by whatever manner, I think we will continue to trend in that 7-7 type direction. This full lineup despite not being good, is not terrible either. Its going to be tough. Obviously we will make some "moves and adjustments", but there will be others with similar records who will go hard as well.

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
update, still on pace for 24-32
16 games until trade deadline including last night vs Charlotte. I guessed our record. I will update after each game.
(17-23)
Jan 10 - Charlotte - W (18-23)
Jan 12 - Charlotte - W (19-23)
Jan 14 - Atlanta - W .... Loss (19-24)
Jan 16 - @ NY - L .... Win (20-24)
Jan 17 - @ Milwaukee - L (20-25)
Jan 19 - @ Minnesota - L
Jan 21 - Boston - L
Jan 22 - NY - W
Jan 25 - @ Sacramento - L
Jan 27 - @ G.S. - L
Jan 28 - @ Portland - L
Jan 30 - @ Phoenix - L
Feb 1 - @ Utah - W
Feb 3 - @ Houston - W
Feb 5 - @ Memphis - L
Feb 8 - San Antonio - W
Feb 9 = Trade Deadline.
7-9 record as per above (24-32). But lets say we get 2 extra wins and go 9-7 instead, we would be (26-30).
To put things in perspective on Feb 9 of last year (deadline was Feb 10), our record was 30-23.

Man that Knicks win really sucks for the tank. Would've been on a 3 game losing streak and 19-26. Instead we are 20-25 , with a very realistic chance to lose the next 2.

That’s the Knicks for you. Can’t count on them to beat us ever even when they are supposed to be good

in this day and age anyone can score 40 as long as the coach let them unload the clip.

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
We need a tall guard to truly see the potential of this 6 foot 9 experiment. A tall guard would do wonders since they can see over the defense and can create a consistent shot for others. Fred does this sometimes but his inconsistent finishing and tunnel vision at times hurts. There are only a couple imo that have the vision to truly be point in this draft, I’ve talked about him before but I think if we stay in the middle of the 1st round lotto then Anthony Black might be the guy.

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
Obviously I want us to stay in the top 6-7 so we can get a sexier prospect. I’m a sucker for dynamic 6 foot 7 point guards. I loved Cade’s game in OSU. Still think Cade’s gonna be special. Cade is a better ball handler but Black has better burst. Something we lack. Ironically they both struggle with consistent shooting too lol (although Cade made so many clutch shots for Oklahoma, big game player).

If we get that LAL 1st from an OG deal we could be targeting Black with it, and then get a top 5-8 pick with our own and target someone like Keyonte/Ausar. Not a bad outcome tbh.
