Yep. Scoot is doing this in the second best league in the world. No chance anyone leap frogs him unless he sustains a catastrophic injury

I am not so sure that the G League is better than the ACB.

It might be on par with the NBL.

No way, the NBL is actual men. The Gleague are just guys hunting 10 days and borderline prospects. It's not the same type of basketball, although the speed of the game is closer to NBA style basketball. NBL is full of guys that wouldn't think twice about laying you out. Scoot wouldn't look as good in the NBL, but he's clearly the #2 in this draft and #1 for anyone that's afraid of Wemby's frame.

Anthony Black is so underrated. Clyde on the draft forum compares him to Cade with a worse jump shot and I can see it. If he develops that jumper he'd be a huge steal anywhere you take him after 2.

Yeah I'm an Anthony Black fan. If we're in the 5-15 range I'll take him and sleep easy with that pick.

Gradey Dick's my early favourite outside the top 4. He shot 48% from 3 with over 5 attempts a game. Although shot better from 3 than 2. Has a BPM of 9.8, over 3 DBPM so won't be a pylon. He's got good size too as he's 6'7 or 6'8 depending on what site you go to.

We need a guy that can just make it rain.

Speaking of making it rain, I am curious where you rate Brandon Miller? He is 60-130 threes as a freshman which is 46% (8 attempts); also has a .633 TS%. I think this kid is looking top five given he is 6-9 and only 18.

I think Miller goes top 4.. I was looking at guys in our potential draft area (7-11) in case we don't "win" the lottery.

Incredible shooter wouldn't be surprise if he's selected 2nd over Scoot.

The natural talent of the top 5 is impressive. Each of those players have talent and skills the raptors desperately need.

Mgmt has to be aware of the different talent levels in this draft. Taking a step back this year could return a DAME instead of a TRoss.

That's fair. I have seen Miller in a wide range, but he must be rising with his play. Gradey is going to be a really good role player. He reminds me a bit of Chris Duarte where he can do a bit of everything on the court. Gradey's probably a bit taller and younger coming into the draft, but their games and competitiveness are similar.

Brandon Miller is 20 already. Baba Miller is still 18. He turns 19 next month and is 6'11. Maybe he tops out at 7'0! :o

Cam Whitmore moving way up my personal board. Averaging 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals per 36 minutes while shooting 36% from beyond the arc on 4 shots a game. Reminds me physically of Corey Maggette, but I want to see him guard a similarly athletic wing to measure his defense.

If the Raptors end up with any of: Wemby, Scoot or B.Miller that has been a very successful tank. Even if they ended up with a Thompson Twin, Nick Smith Jr. or Keyonte George I would say it was worth leaning into the tank (for those prospects I would not tank from the outset; I'd only lean into an already losing season).

I think Brandon Miller is a perfect compliment to Scottie. Two big and long combo forwards that can handle the ball; one who is a sharpshooter and the other who is among the best in the league at finding open shooters. Pair them with OG and you have a nice balance of shooting, playmaking and defense. You would just need a downhill point guard and a centre that can catch lobs and occasionally step out to hit a shot and you're set (can Precious be that guy? Maybe with a bigger back up).

We do need multiple picks in this draft. So many long switchable player in that 6'7"-6'9" range that can shoot. Here are some names that I don't really see people talking about here as much as the more recognized ones.

Noah Clownley
Leonard Miller (sometimes he's mentioned)
Coleman Hawkins
Sidy
Taylor Hendricks (If we can't get Brandon Miller, he's the same type)
Berke

So many that could fit on this team. Even if we draft Hendricks and Berke, we're good. We can do much better of course but that's how deep it is.

Those are guys that you're likely to be able to get near the last 21+ of the 1st rd & you hope slip into the 2nd rd which at least one, if not more will. I'd add Jordan Walsh and Chris Livingston to that group too as guys who would be nice for some perimeter depth on the bench.

I like Nick Smith over Black.

Also Brandon Miller, Jarace Walker, Cam Whitmore, Jett Howard, and Maxwell Lewis are some of my other personal favorites.

Same. I'd add Wallace to the list as well.
