Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

It's a horrific trade regardless of us being bad. Rudy Gobert nets an amazing package and Siakam will net this? I don't think so.. you guys don't have the assets
You may have a point to feel that the trade is bad. However, I don't think it makes much sense to bring up an objectively horrible trade and say that's the Siakam price because one team was dumb enough to pay that much for Gobert.
Doesn't feel like the Raptors will blow the team up and are desperate to trade him., so you're probably right in the sense that if Siakam is traded, it will end up feeling more like "an overpay" from the other team than an underpay.
Look at what Donovan Mitchell got. Anthony Davis. Rudy Gobert. etc. Siakam is closer to that tier of trade than whatever it is you posted from that tweet.28 years old, putting up 25/8/6 on 57.2TS% and is a damn good defender (even though this year it has fallen off effort wise, which probably is not an issue if he does not play 37mpg and is the entire offence most nights like it wouldnt be in Dallas).
Siakam is not getting traded for a package headlined by Green or Wood.
You are probably right.
Have there been rumours with teams that have the assets and may make the required offers?

Green has looked good this season before going down with an injury.
Sorry, we might be desperate, but not that desperate.
Why is Pascal so good and the Raptors record this bad?
Why is Luka so ridiculously good and the Mavs record so mid?

Just deal with the expirings and if there are signs of a turnaround, shut down Pascal with an "injury". That'll put us within striking distance of Victor and Scoot.
It’s probably the most logical plan (which of course means it will be outright rejected by half this board).
-actively shop FVV and Trent
-passively shop OG and Siakam. If someone blows our socks off, move them. If not, can be re-evaluated in the summer
-mystery Siakam hamstring “injury” with 15 games to go
Probably can’t get in the top 5 of the draft but 6th is reachable. As is this team is 50/50 to even win a play-in game, so what’s the point?

Because the rest of the roster sucks - they lost Brunson and also have missed two starters most of the year (they've actually been missing 3 regular players, Finney Smith, Kleber and Josh Green). The Mavs lost all games when Luka didn't play.
The Raptors have better players on paper, that is why the question is asked.

The question was more of a rhetorical nature. But to answer more specifically, it's because the team has no centre, no backup pg and no bench in general. And Nurse's defensive style is exhausting so the bench is extra important.

Pascal and Scottie play basically the same role. They don't complement each other...so what is evident is that when one has a big game...the other doesn't. There is no synergy because their role and skill set are so similar.
Need an elite scorer/shooter to go with either Pascal or Scottie...we need our Middleton to go with Giannis/Klay to go with Steph.

We're 8th now, that would land us maybe top 12th pick. Probably higher.
In other words, a good role-player that maybe has potential to start some day.

they'll probably blow it up in the offseason.
knowing Masai is not dumb enough to trade players under their value.

Is this statistically true? I know they both need to be better three point threats, but I envision Scottie being the playmaker and Pascal the finisher, like Magic and Worthy. Somehow it should be able to work

They'll never blow it up as in trade multiple core players at once. This deadline at most it will be one starter. I wish Fred but probably Gary. A monster trade like Pascal or OG would be off season if ever

It would seem to be a trend that we saw in the beginning of the season when Pascal was putting up near triple double numbers and people were on about Scottie disappearing. And this stretch in January as Scottie has been doing well but Pascal has been less effective.
Both guys need the ball in their hands and significant time in the paint to playmake or go into their move to score. If one guy is cooking...the other guy is just gonna stand there and ball watch. Neither is a good enough shooter to stand outside waiting for the kick out.
True that we need another dude that can create his own shot but maybe not another forward who has made his money at or close to the basket which both Scottie and Pascal's strengths. This is where Masai might be wrong about wanting 10 Pascals or OG's on the team...they are all too similar in skill set and weaknesses.
This might be a shortcoming of "positionless basketball".

I agree that the new playmaker we need has to also be a good shooter.
So a quick PG who can beat his man, threaten the rim, score at all 3 levels, AND run the offense like Chris Paul. Should be easy to find.

There's an article on Yahoo Sports by Oren Weisfeld titled, the 6-9 vision isn't the Raptors problem, shooting is. Something like that. I can't link it now, maybe someone has, or should. Good breakdown of how bad shooting, and the failure to acquire shooters, has sunk our season more than anything else.

Might be available at the #2 pick of this upcoming draft...first name rhymes with "toot".
