Kayshon Boutte is another WR that could do well in our system. Keep forgetting he re-declared for the draft.

Never really liked projections pre combine but if I was just gonna target a position high it would be TE.

Love is gonna need a saftey blanket to throw to and getting a young guy to grow with him would be ideal

We need help at TE, for sure, but guys at that position usually take at least a couple years to develop, no matter the round.

TE was strong last draft, too. Given our lack of success with 3rd round picks, I'd offer our 3rd to the Ravens for Likely, who they got in the 4th last year and looked good in the action he got this year.

Johnson, I would for sure take in the first round. I'd consider Addison as well, but I do worry about his size. He's not overly fast either, but he's that smooth, crafty route runner that finds a way to get open.

I think there are some good WRs in the middle rounds that I think Gute could poach from. Andrei Iosivas out of Princeton looks like a Christian Watson clone. Charlie Jones from Purdue, Zay Flowers out of BC, and Rashee Rice from SMU are some of my favorite day 2/3 wideouts.

I haven’t watched too much on guys, but I did watch a recent vid that compared the guys in this class to NFL WR
Addison - Devonta Smith
Boute - Deebo lite
Johnson - AJ Green
Smith-Njigba - Cooper Kupp

Boute seems to have some kind of attitude issues that turn me off. Johnson to me looks like Eq St Brown which I don’t like, but see the appeal. Addison playing the slot would really add something. But I can’t ignore that JSN outperformed TWO guys that were top 15 picks at OSU that both look like studs in the NFL.

Not to mention he could give you elite separation from the slot while Watson and Doubs rock the outside. Absolutely tantalizing and if he didn’t miss the season I don’t think there is a chance in hell he would be available at 15.

Weird year for the WR room. Ever since forever the Packers have had veterans at the position to lead by example. Assuming Lazard is gone. Next year is a void year for Cobb at $1.4m so not sure how that works, but I just can't see the Packers going into 2023 with rookies and 2nd year guys. Gonna need a vet with some clout and something left in the tank to lead that room.

He's quietly become one of my favorite players in this draft. I think after the combine he'll be getting solid 1st round consideration, but I think he has questions about his size as well. I don't think it'll matter though cause he makes people miss.

If Rodgers is back, I think Cobb will too. He knows the system, Aaron trusts him, he can teach young players, won't cost much and to be fair, he had good numbers and produced this year when compared to his low salary.

Looking through the tight ends again and I keep coming back to Dalton Kincaid. I think he has the potential to be a big-play receiver at the next level and could be a weapon for the Packers. He was a basketball player and only played one year of HS football before transitioning to football full-time.

I like him but he'll turn 24 at the beginning of next season. Never been a fan of older rooks.

24 in age but doesn't have as much wear and tear on his body due to just starting football. I usually agree that older rookies are not my cup of tea, but I tend to not care as much about age the further down the draft we go. I probably wouldn't take Kincaid at #15, but somewhere in the second round, I wouldn't be upset.

Green Bay Packers #15:
Nolan Smith, Edge
School: Georgia
Year: Senior

Smith had his season cut short by injury, but he’s shown enough promise in his career to warrant top-15 consideration. He has elite burst and change of direction. Expect him to garner some comparisons to Pro Bowler Haason Reddick.

Not a big fan of drafting Smith that high. Great closing speed and nose for the ball, but he's a tad undersized and I think he'll get pushed around by NFL lineman.

Interesting mock. I see he's also as high on Witherspoon as I am. I hadn't seen Van Ness and Nolan Smith that high yet. Kinkaid over Mayer is interesting.

Tank Dell has some extreme YAC ability. Reminds me of Darden from two years ago. I bet this guy would be an awesome KR and slot WR

I also don't think it's a Gute pick. He likes beefier boys on the edge. Gary, Preston, Z, Enagbare, etc.

Zay Flowers looks a ton like Antonio Brown out there on the football field. Very impressive
