I don't really see the match for us with GTJ. He'd be a good fit in Orlando, maybe for Bol Bol and filler. For us though, he's an upgrade on Shamet but he's due am extension and we have other things to spend money on.
As for FVV.....I mean I guess but I'd rather wait in the offseason and see what happens the rest of the year. Plus, I'd imagine that the Dinos would want Ayton, CP3 or Jae/CamJo/2023 FRP. None of which is a great deal for another guy who will be a free agent. If they want him, they should do a sign and trade in the summer.
Yup all I never post about prospects, or trades, or coaches or anything besides Monty and JJ
Yup. OK. Lol
PS: Stop day drinking.........or day meth using.
You are a joke.
JJ and Monty took us to the finals they are not playing fantasy basketball. You just make up a scenario you love and expect them to do exactly as you say or you pout like a spoiled brat and call for their heads. You have no idea what restrictions that they are dealing with due to the purchase of the franchise. You have no ideas what is going on behind closed doors.
I think we should hire the Golden State Warriors GM this off season and if we can't get him lets go after that guy in Boston. We should hire Phil Jackson to be the coach or if we can't get him I would hire Steve Kerr. Those are my plans. F Presti and your loser from Utah.
Lol
Look how triggered you are. What a little cuck. Very very amusing.
As to your greater "ideas".... you call my ideas dumb and you come with "let's hire Steve Kerr or that guy from Boston" HAHAHAHAHA...because Brad Stevens is just gonna leave and come here.
Phil Jackson? Hahahaha. He's like 80 you stupid **** moron. You think he's coming here?
Stupid useless post by a stupid useless poster. Your specialty. At least you stop posting about Ayton long enough to do it.
Tell you what loser, I'll make a bet that if they hire Phil Jackson, Kerr, or Stevens, I'll never post here again. You make the same deal that if they hire Presti, you f_ck off forever.
You have a greater chance finding you dick in the shower, then you do of getting them to hire either of your guys.
Now dance for me little cuck and say something else triggered and stupid.
Now, you asking mods to do something about another poster posting one simple post every day, this is the type of post that goes way over the line and breaks rules with multiple personal attacks. This will be a formal warning on your record along with a 3 day suspension. If it continues after that, punishments will be more severe.
People can argue but resorting to personal attacks is off limits.

While I don't expect the suns would want to resign both Van Vleet and/ or Trent at the amount they're seeking (in free agency). I personally (if we move on from Ayton) would at least prefer to flip Ayton for both Van Vleet /Trent /Achiuwa /Koloko / and their 23' 1st.
Then strategically do this 3 team trade (2 parts):
1- Phoenix/Atlanta/Flakers (Part 1) Flakers- Van Vleet/Trent. Atlanta- Westbrick's 47 million expiring / Koloko. Phoenix- Collins/Capela/J Johnson / Kaminsky.
Paul/Booker/Bridges/Johnson/Capela. Sexton/ Lee/ Vandy/ Kaminsky/ Biyombo. Wash / Okogie / Ish / J Johnson / Landale. ** We draft with our picks: Phoenix 23' 1st- Draft Dayron Holmes (4/5) OR maybe Grant Nelson perhaps? Lakers 2nd- Draft Reece Beekman (development guard). Phoenix late 2nd- Draft EMONI BATES 6'9 wing/ forward (Elite upside swing)!!! From Ypsilanti, MI We can pick up a high quality center from the undrafted pool for G league development if needed. Any of Oscar Tshiebwe/Jamarion Moon/ Brendan Carlson/ Ryan Kalkbrenner/ Nfaly Dante/ Clingan.
sunskerr wrote:Patty Mills isnt playing because he sucks. We'd be better served with Damion Lee of the bench at PG. I really like TJ Warren but I feel like the Nets like him too.
If Masai really has interest in Ayton I'd still want Achiuwa coming back here as part of that deal.
Patty Mills isn't great but he has a lot of experience with Pop. I do like Lee better but Washington is worse, though I know there may be bias.Just look at efficiency. https://stathead.com/tiny/zQQnm
Not Washington has the better age but it's not like we'd be using him, just adding another vet.
It isn't an idea that he's better than Lee but what if Paul and Payne and even Shamet keep getting injured. If Book stays out we are screwed, though could slide Bridges down to 2 now with Cam back to start with Craig at 3/4
If one PG and/or SG is out you just may need Mills/Lee.
But the main point being, what is the alternative for Crowder?
As for TJ, he hasn't played a ton of minutes, and they may want more defense..and 3 pt shooting with Crowder. They also have O'Neale, Harris, Yuta Watanabe (shooting over 50% from 3).
Anyway, I don't know why a guy who has shot 40% and 41% from 3 the last two years and is at 54% from 2 sucks. He has never sucked and has been a decent vet.
Or Curry....though I dont know if they'd do that but maybe because he is expiring and maybe they don't want to re-sign him since Mills is similar.
I don't know if the Hornets will receive an offer for Terry Rozier besides expiring contracts, plus maybe... maybe a pick. It's essentially the same amount of money that John Collins is making plus the length of the contract except Rozier is 28 years old, and is a guard and will be 32 by the end of his contract. I think he is a buy low candidate, but it does make me uneasy if the Suns did trade for him because he'd basically be our Chris Paul replacement and I mentioned before that he hasn't really helped the Hornets improve the four years he's been with the team. I do suppose he might play better with a better supporting cast of Booker, Bridges, Cam Johnson and Ayton.
I think the Suns could make a standing offer to the Hornets of Crowder, Saric and the 2023 1st (lotto protected) for Rozier and Jaden McDaniels, it would be a hard offer for the Hornets to say no to. They could also flip Crowder to another team team, which I imagine if a trade were to go down the Suns would try and find that team in order for the Suns to not have to give up picks, but I think Suns would be forced to give up their own pick. I would hope Crowder would end up in the Eastern Conference, however a majority of the top Eastern Conference teams don't have their own picks, so I think a likely outcome would be the Grizzlies, who could trade Danny Green to the Hornets, while giving up the less favorable picks between them and the Warriors in the 2024 draft. So essentially, the Hornets get two picks for Rozier and McDaniels, plus expiring contracts.
There really isn't many teams that are actively looking to take on salary of 28 year old combo guard that is making over $23 million next season, $25 million the season after, and $26.6 million the season after that.
I suppose Mavs could be desperate enough, but they only have expiring contracts in Christian Wood and Dwight Powell, they'd be pretty thin at the center position without those two, plus they don't have their 2023 1st round pick. Lakers could also trade Westbrook since he is an expiring contract, but they also don't have their 2023 1st round pick.
The Pels I could see being a dark-horse candidate, but they don't have expiring contracts, however they have the picks that could probably offset that. They could probably trade Graham (3 years on his deal) and Jaxson Hayes plus their own 2023 pick and maybe the Bucks 2025 pick (or Bucks 2027 pick). I believe though, the Suns offer would trump that unless the Hornets like Jaxson Hayes as a prospect, and if they did they could probably get him for relatively cheap in free agency anyway.
Tonight Ayton registered a 32.8 usage%, his second-highest of the season. In games where his usage is at least 28% (on par with DeRozan, Keldon Johnson, Pascal Siakam, Anthony Edwards and Anthony Davis), Ayton averages:
Sounds easy enough. Keep his usage up there. Though his FG% could be better. But even there it would be fine. It's what Bam's FG% is and he doesn't shoot 3s. He does get to the line a couple more times a game, though he also shoots it a few more times a game.
Ayton's FG% overall will always be higher though. It's lower on high usage than normal because most of that was when he wasn't playing with most of the other starters so facing more pressure from defense, etc.
This puts emphasis on my point awhile back about (post Paul) utilizing an inside out Offense at times through Ayton to force the defense to collapse and in turn our shooters get much better, high percentage shots. Ayton getting started early (primed) is another nice byproduct of that strategy too.

Raps are currently 7th in the tank odds. No team that bad is trading their 1st in a season where moving their best players is a possibility.

Best players in a deal for Ayton? Or best players in general because clearly post trade premise you'd still have Barnes/ Anunoby/ Siakim/ Ayton and aren't Barnes and Siakim your best players overall? Also I don't think you'd still be in the lotto with that frontcourt, you'd just need to find a stopgap guard upgrade? Although doesn't Siakim mostly initiate the offense there currently? Worst case scenario you guys could easily move Anunoby for a high end guard and more draft assets I'd think?
Anyways, your opinion is noted! And I wish you luck in your trading or resigning of them. But the suns aren't going to give up Ayton for those two alone! Especially not with them being free agents and seeking significant amounts in free agency. But no 23' first, no Ayton. Sun's will just explore other options and keep Ayton. Sincerely, best of luck in your tank! There'll be alot of elite talent in that range! I wish our front office actually understood the value of the draft for critical back end roster additions and asset accumulation.
Anyone know IF you were this jersey in the first pic to any participating Filibertos (fredericos), Will you get discounts or free food???
lol right when i saw that i thought filibertos... but i wouldnt even go there if there was free food to be had lol....**** nasty.
All part of the adventure I'm afraid man! Sometimes good eats, but it comes with a price! A little Russian roulette with your lower intestines. Not for the faint of heart

I hear it's slightly better in southern california than Arizona, but that's not saying much. I've definitely gotten good poisoning once or twice from a 'bertos.
Now that there’s some prospect of a meaningful deal before the deadline, is there any interest in testing the Bulls’ asking price on LaVine (offering CamJo/picks/swaps/filler)? He may be the best player currently up for grabs, and could boost the offence both converting feeds from CP3 and co-creating shots in a backcourt with Book.
