Re: GT: Nets @ Jazz - 1/20 9:00
Kyrie finally showed up but our offense has been worst in the league without KD. Nothing different tonight. Too many dumb possessions. Wasting time doing nothing. Turning down open shots. Not attacking. Turnovers.
Kyrie has 20, Clax has picked it up, Royce hit 3 3s and we STILL suck as an offense. That's how bad were playing as a team.

Attaboy Joe.....we just need to step it up on defense. Too many open lanes to the hoop.

This starting lineup needs to defend, rebound and generate turnovers to survive without KD. It's absolutely anaemic offensively in the half-court, worst in the league bad.

Clax killing it out there, JV can't even take him out of the game since he knows a Jazz run will follow.

I
Simmons and Curry would be the reason we lose this game. Simmons is more passive than a shy girl who has a crush and Curry is clumsy as ****.

Good defense in the 4th. Kyrie went insane.
We needed this win desperately.
Simmons offensively is still such a blackhole. He forces us to play 4 on 5 every night.
Warriors game might be ugly.

Re: GT: Nets @ Jazz - 1/20 9:00
Much needed win, improved effort and then Clax and Kyrie brought us home
Ben is not going to be playing at all in the 4th in the playoffs. He doesn't have that dog in him. Nor should he be playing in lineups with Claxton if KD isn't out there with them

Also side note. Why does Claxton always miss the 2nd foul shot.
His first shot is perfect. And then he just bricks the 2nd every time. Teams are starting to intentionally foul him. Its not good.

Re: GT: Nets @ Jazz - 1/20 9:00
Simmons needs to figure out a way to score. So many times tonight where he was right near the rim and just passed it.
Hes basically just Ben Wallace at this point. No offensive game to speak of.

Re: GT: Nets @ Jazz - 1/20 9:00
Kyrie was amazing tonight. He took this team on his back and carried us over the finish line.
This could be a huge turning point in the season. We just beat a good team on the road on the second night of a back to back. After losing KD it was an adjustment period. It took us until tonight for our guys to trust each other and now we have to build on it.
Seth knocked those two big threes. Nic continued his extraordinary defense and we don't win tonight with him.

Re: GT: Nets @ Jazz - 1/20 9:00
Nice win. I said before the 0-4 streak that kyrie will have to drop a 40 pt game for us to win and this was it. He's going to have to do it again tho because nobody is stepping up, except for Claxton. We played good team defense in this game though but the refs gave them extra possessions.
I'm glad the refs didn't rob us in this game like they did last night, they almost did though by giving Utah 16 free throws in the first half to our 2. These refs really don't like the Nets for some reason because Kyrie literally gets hacked most of the time and they swallow they whistles but are quick to call Ben or Claxton on some bogus foul it's ridiculous and we need to put the NBA on notice with this BS.
Good thing Harris gave us three 3s in the 3rd and Steph gave us those two 3s in the 4th, that really helped us but we need alot more from them. Kyrie literally has to play hero ball for us to win now. Ben Simmons needs to do something. He had 2 plays were he could of easily lay the ball up but kicked it out. And we need to run some set plays, we had way too many shot clock violations, like 3 or 4 if I remember correctly, that should not happen more than once.
We need a trade in the worst way, trade deadline can't come quick enough. And hopefully we get someone from the buyout because we need 2 legit players. Hopefully Kyrie has enough in the tank to drop another 50 pts because we're going to need him to. Unless we get ridiculously hot from 3. We need to give alot of love to Claxton, dude has been a beast for us on both sides he's stepped it up.

Kyrie was solid. Jacque coached a good game.
that's all we need to do to win.
