To this day, I still do not understand why Kessler is drafted so low in NBA Draft.

Is it because in nowadays NBA, true center doesn't exist anymore? But just by looking at Jazz vs Magic game, Kessler was a beast defending the rim plus offensive rebounding.

That is the same case goes to Zach Edey. Are you serious? Dude is dominating down low and is being projected as a late second round pick? I thought defense and rim presence along would make them much higher pick

And he played Minnesota, who drafted and traded him. They didn’t need to trade for Gobert! Painful

Good for him, I feel like the Vooch slander in some corners of the internet was getting out of hand, he's still an excellent nba player.

He said he wants to come back to Orlando once he hits free agency if possible, would y'all welcome him back? I know he's not the defensive center we need but my arms are wide open, he's literally the reason we have Franz.

He's still good as a starter, would be really good as a bench player.

The NBA record is held by Vince Carter at 756. (Jamal Crawford is at 718).

For Carter to do this, he played in 4 different decades. For Vučević to break Carter, he would need to lose on average 50 games for about another 8 years. It is possible (he could play to his early-40s), but he won't "shatter" the record.

I would say it is improbable (injuries, slowing career, etc.). But it is certainly NOT impossible.

nba officiating for double dribbles and walking is so damn awful nowdays. I'm watching top highlights of Jordan Poole' stepback last night. Guy literally made 5 steps in stepbeck and nobody called anything.
There are situations where "stepback 3" means 6 steps. Just impossible to guard

He would be really expensive bench player. That money would be better invested in really good guard.

I like Vuc, but I don’t think he’s a good fit with our forwards.

I was thinking the same thing, maybe he'd take a team friendly deal to get his family back to God's country and would be perfect off the bench. Also it would help preserve his body.

Was wondering when Vooch's classic contract year push was going to start...

Fool's gold, my friends. Once he gets his new deal he'll be back to headscratchingly mediocre performances. His history so far would strongly suggest that.

His ascendance might be the key to Simons becoming available to us. Damn, that's incredible...and he shoots too. They need to unleash him. He's not a bench player.

He is still 19, they are in no rush to open up 38 mpg for him, but from some physical profile, this kid has insaine body to become whatever he wants to be.

I think Dame's likelihood of hitting a wall any time now (regardless of insane paycheck) might make them a little less patient than they'd like when it comes to win-now moves for a frontcourt improvement. I really like WCJ for Simons. I also think Anthony could potentially be near value to Simons as an off the bench scorer (mini-Dame). To be clear, I take Simons as a starter over Cole all day, but in a limited role, the gap might not be as wide and for all of Cole's questions, he's definitely not afraid of the bright lights and big moments. Maybe WCJ, Cole, Bol, TRoss for Simons & Hart...I would add that TRoss is bound to have a rebirth in the Pacific Northwest in a contending situation next to a star as fierce as Dame.

I love this trade so much that I have to include it on every thread
