GT #46: Magic @ Bullets 7 PM (NBCSW/980 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Sat Jan 21, 2023 6:04 pm

YOUR Washington Bullets are 19-26!

AN IMPORTANT GAME for the tankathon comes tonight as the upstart Magic come to town.

Orlando beat the Pelicans last night and aren't too far behind in the Play-In chase. They have the 5th best lottery odds while your Bullets are at 6th.

The Bullets blew them out in Orlando about 3 weeks ago in the aftermath after the brawl in Detroit which yielded suspensions.

Everyone is back though, so let's see if the tank rolls!

Chris Miller (aka Baghdad Bob) with another gem right now...The Wizards are so dangerous because anyone on the court can bring the ball up.

We’re just 2 losses away from cracking the club teams with +10% odds to draft Wemby. And the team ahead of us is in DC tonight.

Why aren’t Beal, KP and Kuz out with “knee soreness” or “hamstring tightness”?

Because Turd is in charge that's why. We are up 16 right now. I hate this stupid team. Same crap we did last year that caused us to miss out on Mathurin, Ivey, Sharpe, Daniels tier and end up with Mr. Bust himself Johnny Davis.

Seriously. What does beating up on the Magic get us? (Assuming we don’t trip over our own schlongs and find a way to lose.)

OMG, is that Johnny Davis sitting in Turd's usual seat?

I criticize Kuz plenty -- so I'm happy to point out that he just had a killer, all-star first half!

Rui is running a clinic tonight. They can't stop him.

Rui started off like 0-4 and has been a machine since. Midrange j has been lethal tonight.

This is why I would prefer Rui at a cost controlled salary than Kuzma. Rui can provide this type of offense at a fraction of the cost.

Beal's passing tonight has been awesome. He is finding guys for dunks every time.

It's too bad I'm rooting for the tank. This was actually a very well-played game by the Wizards. Good, smart, unselfish offense. 34 assists and 8 turnovers.

POTG is going to be tough. Rui scored a ton efficiently. But Kuzma scored nearly as much with only slightly less efficiency, while also adding 6 assists and 10 boards. And let's not forget Delon Wright who totaled 15 points, 8 assists and 3 steals in 24 minutes without missing a shot or turning the ball over. It only took him 6 shot attempts.

Beal was really good too.

Maybe Rui's 30 point night will boost his trade value. They're going to have to trade him if they're keeping Kuzma.

Good that Rui had a big night to increase his trade value. Can't believe I've gotten to the point where I just don't care about W/L. Now, we finally trade him when he's finally a legit scorer off the bench with range. Deni and Kispert? Meh. Deni looks great against the Knicks and stinks the joint tonight and nobody cares or notices because we crush the Magic. I don't think Brad shot well early but was sharing the ball all night. KP? He was due to get hurt. Road trip coming up. If he's out, it's tank time against some real and some bad teams. Dallas on Tuesday, a bad Houston team on Wed but a BTB. New Orleans on Sat with a ton of injuries. Terrible Spurs team next Monday, then a terrible Detroit team. Portland at home then Nets on the road who are ok if Kyrie plays. If KP is back, they easily can go 3-2 on that trip and then we're back in the same middle of the pack, go for the play-in game or higher. :noway:
