But I could see how there could be confusion but I don't think a rule needs to be in place. Soul said he was up late so maybe that is why he was a bit confused but everyone should know there own pick situation.

Honestly, if I was to propose any rule change at this point it would be to eliminate all pick swaps. They are getting increasingly difficult to keep track of especially when we add in protections on pick swaps. Allow teams to make trades without swaps would be my fix for these issues. If this is becoming an issue causing problems in trade discussions for teams, we can vote on that because I don't expect teams to go through all of the trades posted in the "transactions" page of the main thread to "follow the pick".
Remove protections too?
