Miss Stu Scott man. He made sports anchoring cool. He was to that job what Deion was to cornerbacks.

Sam Mitchell still lies about all the defensive schemes he supposedly used.

You know with scoring inflation nowadays the 81 back then is like getting 97 in todays game.

Remember me and my friend debating whether or not this was real until we saw the highlights.

Down 15 at the half or something right? Completely unforgettable game and day of my life.

I'll never forget this. I woke up at like 2 am and could not sleep so I hopped on the computer and 100% thought ESPN had the number wrong. No way someone had 81 points.

I remember watching his last game and even as a jazz fan knowing they needed a win to go to the playoffs, I couldn't help but being in awe as he caught fire. All I could think about was the saying how the truly great are capable of being great 1 last time. RIP Kobe

Lakers down 18 with 8:54 remaining in the 3rd. Seeing Kwame bricking, Smush turning the ball over, and Odom bricking…

You basically wish Kobe never passes the ball. I mean, why should he? Lol

Jesus this is where Kobe goes off.

Kobe should have gotten the assist but Odom bricks an easy layup on the fast break.

As great as Odom was a 6th man, him as a 2nd option was a total disaster. Now he’s just bricking free throws. Dude was 0/6 FG with 6:53 min in the 3rd.

Wow, that same night, Seattle Sonics beat Pheonix 152-149 in double OT. Anybody remember that game?

Had a rookie Jose Calderon guarding him in the 4th. Mitchell was just a terrible coach.
