How was better at giving a good show - Rick Rude or Val Venis

Post#1 » by migya » Sun Jan 22, 2023 2:36 pm

Ravishing Rick Rude and Val Venis were among the best and funniest gimmicks in wwe history. They both had a difficult character to play but they were pulled off very well. Which one was better at putting on a show?

Rude given the sheer weight of the title runs he was given and the prolonged upper mid card push.

Even at his absolute peak Venis was never viewed on the level Rude was

Depends on what you're into as far as a "show" and that's subjective.

Rick Rude. There were actually people who liked Venis, but there was nothing face about Rick Rude. Never liked him, but liked what he done as a heel. I respected him more outside the ring.

Rude was before my time but I heard he was the go to guy to make up and comers look good like Ziggler in the recent era and was great to work with early Warrior as he could be the ring general.

Venis could work too but in Attitude Era it's easy to see how it got overshadowed by the gimmick, so Rude's career is better.
