It's probably a slight upgrade over Kendrick Nunn but man the one thing Rui doesn't really provide that the Lakers desperately need is reliable floor spacing.

This would be a great pickup imo. His strength is underrated. Dunno how his wing defense is tho which the Lakers badly need
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

I’m assuming these 2nd Round picks are down the road and they’re hoping they end up being early in the Round.

This will be like the Jeremy Lin experience in some ways for the fanbase from a marketing perspective.

Good to see the Lakers continue to try to improve

theyve fallen in love with kuzma i guess. very wizards thing to do. The relationship is very toxic though and people around the league know it much more than we do.

He hasn't been a very efficient offensive player. Very streaky 3 point shooter and he doesn't really playmake for others or get to the rim either. His best skill is mid range shooting so he's kind of a dinosaur offensively.

Kuzma is a popular guy. He's in the all-star balloting. Wizards need that kind of thing

I feel like the Lakers could have done a bit better with THREE second rounders. He's a free agent this summer, so no bargain years.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

You just asked that question 3 minutes ago. You might want to consult with your personal physician.
