Lakers need length and depth. Nunn wasn't even playing when Lonnie Walker and Austin Reaves were healthy.

Without knowing too much about Rui, I would always look at the box scores and compare him to Kuzma.

Excited, but apparently his defense is supposed to be not great

Not a great fit, but a decent player, very athletic. He is what Doumbaya supposed to be.

The Wizards already play a core of Kuz-Beal-KP and it sucks even with Kuzma and KP having a great season, committing all this money to those guys is just dumb.

diet kawhi offensively. very low defensive iq, but good defensive tools. enjoys the midrange shot too much. dribbles into 2 pointers when any contest at all is given. can dunk on people with either hand, strong finisher in the lane. The lakers will use him in dho spot ups, attacking closeouts and transition basketball. He might struggle playing with lebron and russ at the same time with his current playstyle because they put a lot of pressure on role players to hit 3 pointers. nunn wasnt hitting, but he at least had a 50 percent 3 point rate( very high) Ruii is almost half that. He will have to improve that in order to be good for the lakers.

I like Hachimura. Not a great 3 pt shooter but can do a lot of things pretty well. I don't love the fit on LAL but it's still a good get for them. They got the best player in the deal and 2nd round picks are no biggie.

Not sure I like the fit that well for the Lakers tbh.
This smells like a Jeannie Buss move for the future, not something that helps them much now.

This is a big deal from the perspective that they now can't get into the Beverly + Nunn salary range for a player making more. And after Beverley's inspirational speech at halftime yesterday they may opt to keep him. But they can still go Bev + Walker + 1st for GTJ, for instance.

I like a young rui moving forward, but someone like bojan would have helped them more this season
