If he keep this level up then maybe JJ change his plan and trade Crowder for SF/SG not PF. Would be a huge turnaround what many are thought so far. Just get rid of Shamet would be nice.

Nice tune-up game before Dallas on Thursday.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

It's crazy just how much parity, record wise, there is in the Western Conference. I hope we get back to healthy soon as the climb isn't getting any easier here on out.
One game and one win at a time. Catch you guys for the next one.

Is it just me or is the ESPN page trash now? Half the time when I click through to box score or the play by play for each game, it errors out. Also I think I already saw someone mention the scoreboard is always showing the score of the games from the day before.

From 11th (or 12th) in the West and out of the playoffs to 1.5 games out of home court in a span of about a week.

Eaaaaaasy, 4th win in a row.
Cam Johnson killer. CP3 maestro. Biyombo Mutombo. Mikal "just" 18 points.

Markkanen second best PF on that list. Never thought that he would get max contract.

Feels like the team finally learned how to play without Booker and look for their shots and not just dump it off to Book or CP3 for shots.
It also really helps being back home and having CP3 and Cam back.

Hornets not very good….
Good win
Have to beat the lesser teams
Good low minute game for CP. need to load manage the crap out of him… will he or monty ever learn this? No more 38 minute games.

Re: Game 49: Charlotte Hornets (13-35) @ Phoenix Suns (24-24)
My excitement for Cam Johnson has always been tempered by some of the most untimely injuries I've ever seen from a developing player, but this kid has got a lot of scoring talent. Moreso than Mikal or Ayton, as much as I appreciate what they bring to the table. Cam's just got "it" man, you can see it from a mile away. I remember doing more research on Cam after that wtf draft moment and started to see a lot of similarities between him and DBook. Both of them had fantastic seasons in college, but their draft stocks remained slept on due to either their role or their age. Both were absolutely lethal shooters and were unanimously praised for their shooting ability and the incredible form of their shooting motions. Both posted the best lane agility time in their respective draft classes - just overlooked athletes in general going into the draft. I don't see Cam developing the same deep bag that Book has or developing the handles it would take to be a true point-of-attack creator, but I absolutely see Cam getting involved in the offense much like how Book was learning how to shine under Jeff Hornaceck. Flashing for 3s on the wing, slicing decisively to the basket, and taking smooth 1 - 2 dribble pull-ups that seem to go in more than they miss. Having a guy like that can really ease the load off of DBook, especially if Mikal continues to stay aggressive once our star actually returns.
Living off borrowed time the clock ticks faster...

Suns played well.. Cam Johnson makes everything look so easy. I really enjoy watching him play. It’s also good to see Chris Paul play like himself. I don’t know if it will last but good to know he can tie a string of good games still.
Bismack, 5 blocks. His effort and intensity is just awesome.
Big game vs Dallas is next.

No, it sucks. I couldn't watch all the game, so I checked the score but it never updated, or even reverted back to an earlier score. And then it always shows me previous day scores at the top. If I refresh it works and change the date at the top.

Yeah, a blowout has got to feel good for you, but not only is it the Hornets, but they were missing their 2 best players plus Oubre and Hayward, It's amazing looking at their team #s. All of Hayward, Oubre and Rozier are hovering around 51% TS% which is pretty awful. I was also surprised to see PJ Washington only averages 4.6 rebounds. I had figured he was far better than that.
When the Hornets are down their best players, and a couple of other top rotation players, it hurts.
They are one team that could really use Victor Wembanya and really deserve him....and could be fun once LaMelo and Bridges return. That running duo plus Victor would be a nice little core.
We have lost to some bad teams of course, but some of those bad teams still have a lot of talent and plays some great games, like Orlando and Houston. Charlotte, not so much. Especially this Charlotte version.
But the blowout has to give them confidence vs Dallas. Hopefully just not too much, given who it was against.
