Probably need to trade Nick and Mark for some 3&D players to clear space for Plum to operate downlow. He's everything Cody Zeller was meant to be, and more.

Why is this? Stats-wise looks like Mark did really well the past few games with minutes in the high-teens. Is Mark in the doghouse again? (Recall Nick took over for a few games)

Also what are CHA fans' expectations on a Plumlee trade?

Mark Williams fantasy holder here.

Cliff came out and said both Mark and Nick deserve minutes so instead of giving them each limited time (behind Plumlee), he would instead alternate their DNP-CDs so they could get more extended time in individual games so they can get into a rhythm

After Biyombos 5 first half blocks I was worried he was going to end the Plumlee party.

But you can’t keep the great man down.

Suns trade package probably went down after watching us get blasted by 25 points.

Worried this could be a Bismack revenge game, he wants to prove he’s the better bobcat centre

Hornets clearly just showcasing Richards. I hope Hornets can clear their log jam and shock the world with Mark Williams.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Bali is the cheap holiday spot for us west aussies, cheaper to stay here than holiday in my own state. Probably like Mexico for your western residents

Think they will trade Plumlee then let the 2 of them handle centre

steve clifford is a dumbass

This. Playing Mark feels naughty and naughty ain't good for Cliffy's ticker.

I turned this **** off when I realized he wasn't going to play Mark.

Its not Rocket science. Plumlee has already shown his value. Play him the first 6 minutes of each half and have Mark/Nick split the other 36 minutes until they can find a team for Plumlee.

This entire thing is stupid and his justification is nonsense. He only plays the backup center like 15 minutes a lot of the time anyways because he loves playing Plumlee over 30 minutes. He could just split their minutes evenly between the three and Mark/Nick would be getting the same amount of playing time they would have anyways as the sole backup. Clifford just doesn't want to cut Plumlees minutes at all.

As long as we're in the playoff picture, Plum is going to get 30+ MPG.

Just the way it's gonna be.

I can't believe the Hornets hired Steve Clifford and the entire focus of their season turned into a reclamation project for a 32 year old backup center.

I understand the need to keep Nick getting minutes, but to do it at the expense of Mark, given the state of the team, seems like coaching malpractice and is frankly unacceptable. Really disappointed in how Cliff and Hornets are managing this situation.

Obviously Mason will be traded or released at or immediately after trade deadline, so give Nick minutes then.

This franchise is such a dumpster

Just out of curiosity, can you think of any examples of rotations designed to incorporate 3 dedicated centers?

My only remaining hope in terms of semi-rational roster management is that, owing to the fact that we're 13-36 and getting regularly stomped by opposing teams with vets playing big minutes, we're simply showcasing guys to boost trade value. If we pass the deadline with no movement (which is our default) and youth minutes don't go way up, I'll be more done than my current state of done.

I think you can look at the Nick/Mark thing two ways.

1. We are showing Nick a bit to see if we can get anything for him. Wouldn't be crazy since Mark looks like the starter next year and Nick is a FA.
2. We know Plumlee is gone soon and we want Nick to stay engaged and not have a month of no games in the short term.
