Smart/Brogdon
Brown/White
OG/Grant W
Tatum/Precious
Poeltl/Horford/
I've been a Rob fan from day one, but that team you got there is off the charts champion caliber.
I think it works for toronto as well.
Fvv/trent/scottie/siakam/timelord
Thats a nurse team through and through.

How sad is that? Lolol he was there for the keeping. Talk about energy shifted.
Pretty crazy that the #30 pick Bane probably goes #4 in a redraft. Maybe #3. No one will ever convince me that Bane falling to Grizzlies is anything but luck.
We could've had Maxey, Bane or Jaden McDaniels. And also KJ Martin. But you can do this for every team in the league.

2. Jakob Poeltl, San Antonio Spurs
The price tag -- both to acquire Poeltl, and then keep him in green -- adds some pain points to any potential deal. But the talent is undeniable.
The Spurs likely would be seeking multiple first-round picks, especially because the Celtics would need to send out Danilo Gallinari to make the money work. The Spurs can reacquire Gallinari despite waiving him earlier this year and the two teams would not necessarily need a third team’s involvement.
That Multiple 1sts kills that Deal. We just don't have them.

Anunoby is good, no doubt. But, Trading Rob Williams for him?
That doesn't seem like a smart move, at this time. -- Rob's deal is too good, as well.

Well Larry's team gets Poetl as the Rob replacement (not sure how). That is a downgrade, imo, but as Rob gets back both OG and Precious I think the difference is a net positive.

...unless he thinks it will bring us closer to a championship, which is very reasonable.
I'm all about Alchemy and Timelord wizardry, but this team did win a bunch of games with Rob out. I see OG chatting it up with the Jays before/after the TOR games; they seem to like one another. Just because a change is made doesn't necessarily mean the chemistry goes bad. Maybe it's late in the season, but Brad should put the best product out there for Joe and the team.

If it's overpaying with picks then it's still worth it because the Celts really don't need picks for the next 3 seasons.
Celts are a tax paying team and draft picks will only raise the tax bill.
If the Celts lock up Grant in the summer then the Celts will most likely have no roster issues until the contracts of Smart, Rob, White, and Brogdon are up.

I disagree about the picks, To trade away multiple 1st round picks stop us for making any future trade of draft picks and if this is for a player for a one Time rental it would be bad.. Unless of course we get that ring

My definition of overpay is Brad gives the Spurs the 2028 1st round pick and another PROTECTED 1st round pick.
