Do you like LeBron as a player?

In terms of playstyle, tendencies, intangibles, moves, etc. Do you like him as a player?
Now that's the difference between first and last place.

If you don't like LeBron as a player without his shenanigans like "not one, not two", you don't like basketball at all.

I like LeBron as a player and I like LeBron for his minimal off court controversies and things he does to try to help others. The one thing that really drives me to not root for him is the idea that he tries to stack the deck for easy championships and leaves teams that he pushed to use up all their assets and not stick with the mess he helped create.

He’s great . He can still fly at 38 . His athleticism is out of this world . In prime years he was quicker than he is now . Quite the player . I don’t see another Lebron coming again .

I still really like to watch him, but at his peak, he was probably my favorite player from a fan of the game point of view. I love really good passers and he combined that with incredible athleticism. It made for a great show.

I didn't love him in general when he was young for somewhat silly reasons, but I grew to appreciate him a lot more over time and I ended up really liking him as a player (and respecting a lot of what he has tried to accomplish off court too, even if I don't agree with him on everything). I'm glad I got to see his career.

No.

A guy built like Karl Malone shouldn’t collapse to the ground with the slightest contact.

He’s an all time great but that nonsense is embarrassing.

If you don’t like Lebron as a player than you don’t like basketball.

I’ll never get this mindset. Like teams aren’t completely in control of their maneuvers and aren’t more than happy to have Lebron on their roster winning rings and raising their team valuation.

he was more must watch basketball when he was younger and with the cavs. since the heatles, all the other stuffs are baggage he brings with him... the "i need more help", the alienating his teammates on the lakers, the flopping, the complaining about calls, the leGM stuff... you cant watch his basketball without thinking of all of the above.. that's what turns me off now.. i think he was the greatest player on the planet for a long time and deserved few more mvps if it werent for the narrative driven nature of the vote for the award...

How could you not like LeBron as a player. All that power and he can be a bruiser. Also capable of finesse and soft touch. Pass first often.

Now the things he says off the court and the crying on the court is totally okay to not like. He would be universally liked without that stuff

To me it is like going to the a court or a gym and all the best players choosing to be on the same team all the time. If the players in the nba are competitive, then want to prove themselves as able to beat the other great players, not team up because that proves much less. If players had that mindset and teams focus their best on building around what stars they do have, it makes it more balanced.

Fine. I don't like basketball then :D

His moves are awkward, aesthetically non-pleasing. He misses a lot of free throws and doesn't take over games like Kobe. Afraid to take the last shot. Travels a lot. Complains a lot. Only does 1 type of dunk. I dunno, he's really good though. But you asked the question, and my answer is no. He's a Laker though..

I believe many people on this very board have indicated greater respect for the championships of Hakeem, Dirk, and Giannis. Durant’s Warriors championships are also heavily scrutinized. This shouldn’t be a foreign concept.

No, to be honest he is more businessman than NBA player.

He is the evolution of the NBA businessman like Wilt, Dr. J, Bird/Magic, MJ, Shaq, and Kobe.
Sam Hinkie gets removed from the league for enacting a plan approved by the fanbase yet NIco Harrison and Patrick Dumont keep their job for alienating their fanbase. Make it make sense.
