No he's not, he is shorter than Jokic and Jokic is 6"11 in shoes and that's the fact Sabonis height is overblown.

Giannis was 6'8 when drafted at 18. He's now listed at 7'0 (although more likely he's 6'11)

I think he was standing in line with Giannis and Jokic at the All Star Game team photo and Giannis easily looked 1 inch and Jokic probably 2 inches taller than him. I guess Domantas is 6'9-6'9,5 without shoes. That would be ok, if he didn't have such low shoulders.

Unless we are measuring the top of the pomp there Turner looks a good 2 inches taller in that picture. But pictures like that are difficult to use properly for something like this with angles, people standing differently, etc.

Yea, Turner looks a little taller here (and he was 6'9.75 in socks). You could quibble over a few CMs or whatever ,but it's very clear that Sabonis isn't taller, and definitely not 3-4 inches taller.

I've said it before, but the 76ers nuked the entire rest of the NBAs lying about heights when they released real measurements of Ben Simmons at 6'9.5 and Embiid at 6'11.75. Guys can fluctuate a bit depending on the time of day and stuff.

But yea, all these claims of guys growing to 7' or more, you gotta hold up to the Embiid test And for some reason they all seem to get next to Joel and he looks like a giant next to them. Posers.

You're wrong if you think some nba players don't have influence on their roster listings. And most of the players do care about their listings. They've been listed in shoes their entire life and most view their actual height as what they meadure in shoes.

Sabonis is a small 6’11 if that’s the case. He looks closer to 6’9 on the floor for some reason. Think it might be the narrow shoulders and short arms. Not sure, but it’s definitely noticeable when I watch him play.

They should have never did it. Many teams hated it. Most players hated it. It messed up over 40 years on nba roster comparables (in shoes). It's a larger than life league. Taller listings are a good thing, not a bad thing. As for 2019, there were still some shoe heights that year, too.

Simmons isn't 6'9 1/2" barefoot, tho. Hes closer to 6'8" flat. He's not as tall as Durant. Nets dropped him from 6'11" to 6'10" last year with Durant joining team as Durant was clearly taller and listed an inch shorter.
