OG Anunoby is going to be the biggest name moved at the deadline is my prediction.

That and Dallas is more active than we expect because Luka forces them to be

I wouldn't expect to see a post like this 2 weeks before the deadline from a poster with a 20 year history.

Detroit has said they wanna keep Bogey, but I know that's just a front. They're driving up his price, as he's they're best player on the floor at any time. They need to unload him for more than they got for Jerami Grant.

I expect Olynyk and Beasley traded and no one else from Utah.

Ainge is no dummy, Lauri's suprising ascent to stardom has gotten them more wins then desired but it makes zero sense for the Jazz to battle it out for a play-in spot or a playoff spot

Conley is 35, unless he really wants to stay for some reason - i expect him to get traded for sure
Olynyk as well

Beasley while having perhaps more value because of his specific skill set i.e - a shooter, isn't really hurting their tank all that much
he's a sieve who can score. if Ainge doesn't get what he wants for him he'll just wait to the offseason

but Olynyk and Conley who are truly hurting the tank would be offloaded
ofc it will also be more fair to them, giving them a chance to compete and for the franchise to move on

the Jazz are 8th with 25-25 and the Lakers (who are getting AD back) are 13th with 22-26
all the teams from 8th-13th are trying to compete and have players to do so with - OKC, LAL, POR, Wolves and GSW

it'd be super easy for the Jazz to soft tank their way to 13th in the West
Spurs and Houston would be out of reach obviously and will remain bad (worse than the Jazz) themselves the rest of the way

realistically in the East since the Raps \ Bulls \ Wizards are all around 21-22 wins and are also semi competent and kinda trying to compete, the Jazz can soft tank below these as well, possible even the Magic who have 18 already and just got Suggs and Isaac back

best case scenario the Jazz finish with the 5th worst record, that's not bad
and it's very likely, 5th-6th

no way Ainge risks finishing say..with the 9th instead of the 5th

for reference the 5th worst record has 10.5% to draft Wemby
8th is 6%, 9th is 4.5% and 10th is 3%

a couple of extra wins would be all what seperates teams in say 10th to teams in 5th-6th

you don't risk having only half or one third of the likelihood to draft Wemby just to finish 8th or 9th in the West

so yeah, Conley and Olynik getting shipped out perhaps Beasley too if Ainge gets his price

My bold prediction is Anthony Edwards is traded. Wolves have underachieved this year and KAT, Edwards, and Gobert are never going to work. Why get rid of Edwards then? Because KAT is the most obvious player that should be traded, but because it's the Wolves they defy what everyone would expect and trade the player they shouldn't.

The Bulls would accept Russell Westbrook, the 2027 and 2029 FRP from the Lakers for Zach LaVine, according to Zach Lowe and Bobby Marks.

He didn't say they "would". Just speculating on an option.

I'm not sure if he is your typical wing player anymore but by CLE standards he's more than agile enough for the wing.

It seems like a first rounder for Jae to CLE is just a matter of waiting till the deadline and the Suns waiting to see if anyone else gets desperate to throw out more than that.

The Cavs don't have a first to trade. Crowder's first go around in Cleveland went poorly. At this point, he's not a better option at SF than a healthy Wade or LeVert.

The reporting is that teams around the league are reluctant to trade for him period. He's been on trade block for eight months and if a first from any team was on the table, he'd likely be gone already. Unless the Bucks step up after the Portis injury, I suspect he's bought out and lands with the Heat after the deadline.

I don't know that any team has ever traded a 21-year-old whose development path gives him a strong chance of becoming a top 10 player. There aren't even any off court or work ethic issues that would lead someone to believe that the Wolves would ever consider moving Edwards.

Saw that Magic is interested in trading for Fred VanVleet if he is available. The first idea that came to mind was that they are crazy as they have a logjam at PG. But then I realized that none of their guards is projected to have an equal or better ceiling than Fred VanVleet. This trade makes a lot of sense for Magic. But what they will need to give up?

He's one of the worst players in the league. A contender won't be able to keep him on the floor with his defense.

Bamba, Harris, Cole Anthony (or Suggs maybe) and the lesser of their and Chicago's 1sts.But I'm not sure Raps would do that and I'm not sure Orlando would give more than that...
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Mo Bamba for sure, Cole Anthony maybe and probably Terrance Ross as filler
