When a top 5 player in the league isn't starting in the ASG, you know something's wrong.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Barlow/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

They have hated this organization since the get go, and this guy gets the brunt of the league's retribution. Pathetic.

Both these statements I’ve bolded couldn’t be further from the truth.
Giannis, Jokic, Curry, Luka & KD are all better. Tatum & Embiid are fighting for the 6th best player in the league.
Their is no agenda, Jokic is the best center in the league hence why he continues to be named on the 2nd team.

I get you’re a passionate 76ers fan but these type of comments from you are childish.

***Calling a poster childish because you don't agree with them is considered a personal attack, not a discussion. It sends the message that you are here to participate in this conversation as a troll who is trying to stick it to a fanbase who is upset at a recent circumstance, not someone who is engaging in any time of worthwhile argument.

Are you seriously coming on the Sixers board, to tell me off?

LeBron James (captain)
Stephen Curry
Luka Doncic
Nikola Jokic
Zion Williamson

Who is the SG here that makes more sense than Tatum at SG in the East?

I’m sorry but you can’t be a top 3 player in the league if you’ve never been past the second round especially with the players Embiid has had on his team.
He can be a 2 time runner up all he wants but if it doesn’t translate to post season success then I don’t want to hear about “top 3”.

Yeah and as a Celtics fan you have zero bias involved here. "You don't want to hear about top 3" LOL, bold statements on a sixers board lol. Why are you here btw? Sounds like you're trying to troll at this point.

I can guarantee if you ask anyone that isn’t a Sixers supporter if Embiid is a top 3 player the majority of them would say no.

Kyrie Irving and Donovan Mitchell over Embiid...I just can't.

It won’t matter cause KD won’t play in the ASG anyway. But Embiid should be in over Giannis in the front court. Same games played, Embiid has been way more efficient, they’re probably even on defense, and Sixers are the 2 seed.

The real team would bump Kyrie, put Tatum at SG, and start Embiid at C. But the NBA makes baffling positional distinction all the time.

3 Ls in a row for the Celtics. We're now just one loss behind them. The Nets also lost to the Pistons of all teams lol. Ben had a big ol goose egg. It's a good night to be a Sixers fan.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Dinwiddie. I hope he wins one before CP3 does.

Brightside with this ASG-Embiid bruhaha is Embiid might be able to get less PT (hopefully) so he can be healthy for the playoffs.

It should also keep him more determined to be in better shape and perform better

I hope Embiid shows the **** up for the Nuggets game. Use this as fuel, and channel it properly. Last time even though we lost, he outplayed Joker. Use the PNR and don't try to back him down and dominate. As much as I do think during the playoffs he played poorly towards the end of the Heat series because of his broken face and mangled finger, we all know Jo gets in his feelings.

Time to channel this ****. Even we dont' win MVP, time to get FMVP.

If the NBA still had a C distinction, Jo would easily be starting. But they took that away because a bunch of mediocre centers racked up AS appearances not really deserved in the 00’s.

I do think they should just do away with positional requirements and just do best 5 now for the AS game. This should be how they name All-NBA teams as well.

I still feel like All-Defense should still have full positional requirements though?
