RS 22/23 - Mavs vs Suns (Thursd. 10PM EST)

Post#1 » by Dirk » Wed Jan 25, 2023 12:07 pm

The Suns have been playing without Booker and Ayton, but are on a 4 game win streak.

The Mavs probably have a random 'defensive' game and beat them. Wishful thinking.

Suns 3rd team is playing almost better than Mavs first team, that's how mediocre Mavs are. If 3s are falling and they play semi good defense Mavs look like champs, otherwise it's just praying that Luka has a godly performance. But even then it's not a 100% win.

3 games separate 4th seed and 13th seed in the west, what a bloodbath...

late game we play good late nights so I say we win. Plus McGee may be motivated to play a good game against his old team.

Dinwiddie is balling. Good to see his aggression. He hasn't shot this many free throws in a while.

Didnt look bad tbh, but can never really tell tho. I thought he were just gonna go out and get it taped. X-ray said it showed nothing

The team is really fighting out there. Both Dinwiddie and DFS probably having their best game all season.

I don't see the point of keeping in Bullock over Green. Green is better both offensively and defensively at this point.

So many plays where you just hold your breath. Wish DFS didn’t force that pass to Powell. Just didn’t seem necessary

IMO, Dinwiddie can ball if given the ball too. So Kidd has to instruct Luka to play off ball some and not dribble for 35 mins per game. Luka is just looking for trouble if he keeps letting the offense go through him. Set some screens, make some basket cuts. It's not hard. Kobe did it for the Lakers. So can Luka.

That no big man lineup sure burned us on defense. Paul attacked that like nothing.

Nice defense from Green. Just let the 50 year old guard go by you without any kind of move. just straight up lay-ups.
