If they did go defense, I wouldn't be entirely upset with Brian Branch. Can play all over the secondary and he would help out our tackling in a major way. On second thought... he's probably way too fundamentally sound for a Packers defense.

I wouldn't mind it, but I think the only for sure first round DB I'd be interested in as of now is Witherspooon.

Darnell Washington for me if we're going TE early. Just give me the freak speed/size/strength guy who can also block. He's got the basketball background too, so yeah, that's usually a good indicator for me.

TE is a quandry for me. If MLF wants to use a TE as an H=back, then drafting a Finley type doesn't fit, and is a waste.

Have to identify why the interior of the OL gets owned and fix it. This team can't move forward without being able to convert short yardage.

I think the appeal with him is you are getting a young Mercedes with upside to be more. I haven’t looked at the snaps but would guess Lewis probably leads the TE room in snaps. Which is something

I'm intrigued by Lukas Van Ness from Iowa. Looks like he can align on multiple fronts and has a nice bullrush. Had some reps at DT and DE, mainly hand in the dirt, but I think he could play edge for us with his speed. He wasn't a starter though so his production isn't quite there. Still pretty young and raw though, would be a pretty big boom/bust pick in the first.

I wouldn't be surprised by an early O Line pick, as who knows how long Bahktiari is on the roster. Grampa Skoronski was a Lombardi Packer, so I could see the marketing side of the FO try to sell that connection. I have no idea if he's worth that high of a pick, so theres that too.

There quite a few very interesting ‘undersized’ WR that seem to have game changing spice with the ball in their hands. Flowers and Downs seem to have that kind of juice as well as Dell.

I have no clue on any of these guys, as I haven't watched one inch of film on any of them. Still, I get a kick out of reading the write ups in the mocks and other prospect scouting reports. Some of the previously overlooked TEs seem to be getting more press lately, probably as much from the writers needing new material, rather than continually recycling old stuff. Maybe he's a workout warrior too?

98% of the mocks I've seen so far have locked in on the Pack picking some flavor of receiver, so there's that driver at work too.

Tight end and edger rusher are the deepest positions in the draft. It probably won't happen, but four TEs could go on the first day. Musgrave is indeed a workout warrior. 6'5", 250 lbs. Last offseason, Musgrave vertical-jumped 36 1/2 inches, broad-jumped 10-1 3/4, clocked a 4.51 40 and did 4.21 in the pro agility. He big and he fast.

I do like Musgrave and he might actually be my #2 TE (behind Washington), but 15 is too high. I'd just trade back into the 20's-30's and grab an extra pick if he's my target.
