Yeah Embiid is a load to deal with...though I can't really blame NE for the return. Its really nice return and he might have the two best defensive bigs in the SIM next year.

Long back and forths even with that package to get the deal completed. Era easily has enough ammo to secure another star if he wants + more flexibility and assets than he previously had.

yeah thats always a tough move to make...moving a player that good...because even if you have the ammo to go after that player the team trading him has to be open to moving them.

But I also can't fault you. You talking one of the top players in the league. It was a costly price but sometimes its get the guy and then figure out the rest later.

I get it on your part but the flack will still come. I got it when I benched Trae, AD, and Siakam. WS did AD wrong last season and I was sick of losing to .500 or below teams. In hindsight, I should have played for the playin win. The difference between the 14th and 15th pick is splitting hairs.

It might be intriguing if you could upset the apple cart with a series win over the #1 or #2 seed :lol:

I have two. The 1st one will convey this season. The 2nd will in all likely hood convey next year and be unprotected.

2023 1st- (From Sacramento) San Antonio owns the right to swap this pick with any 1st round pick they own at the time of the draft. Indiana gets whichever pick is lower (Sacramento or San Antonio).

2023 1st- From Orlando- Traded to Oklahoma City (Lottery protected)- traded to Detroit (Miami gets it if its 1-14, Detroit gets 15-30)- via Miami (Indiana gets 1-14, Detroit gets 15-30)

The fine print on Orlando's pick:
2024 1st- From Orlando- Traded to Oklahoma City if 2023 1st round pick is not conveyed- (traded to Detroit- Detroit gets the pick if they didn't receive the 2023 Orlando 1st- Miami gets this pick if Detroit got the 2023 1st)- via Miami Detroit gets the pick if they didn't receive the 2023 Orlando 1st- Indiana gets this pick if Detroit got the 2023 1st).
