Scottie is heavily heavily underrated man. His scoring game isn't flashy but he does all those little things and he's a very special passer. When he tightens the handle (which isn't bad btw) his assist numbers are going to go up dramatically IMO. I think people really sleep on his ceiling.

Will be interesting to see if Mobley is turning a corner offensively, or just on a bit of a hot streak. 20/9 while shooting 57% over his last 10 games.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

He's had rough start but no way he's not top 5 now. Last 18 games he's averaging 18/8/5.5 on 57 TS%, 1.4 steals, 1.2 blocks and almost 3 offensive rebounds per game

There is absolutely no argument for Green being #2 on any list.

The only people rating green highly are blind rockets homers and people that look at box scores

Plus people that see what he's done with porter off the floor, the fact that he will fill out more physically and didn't expect him to have all the intricacies of the NBA figured out as a 20 year old who never played college basketball. Guy can score and is still playing mostly on raw talent as the number one option on his team, unlike the others on the list.

The only things he has done without Porter is shoot more, miss more, take more bad shots, he’s still lazy and plays no defense and doesn’t move without the ball, oh and they’re still losing games
BUT HE SCORES 20PPG!!!!!

There's clearly no consensus here other than Mobley seeming to be the most common favourite for people by a slim margin due to his physical potential. I think barnes deserves similar optimism due to his strength, length and athleticism. He plays bully ball and has potential to get better at it like siakam. He's smart as well.
This draft was stacked and all these teams should be happy with their picks, which all seem like great fits as well. No need to bring down any of the guys discussed in order to hype up another player imo.

When he is actually allowed to run the team as he wants, he is going to be a monster.
People don't realize that he gers used out by Siakam and Fred so hey can get theirs. Like last night, 9-3-4 after Q 1.....then only get 2 shots the next 2 Q...both 3 pointers because he was sat in the corner so PS and FVV could pnr/iso time after time.
He will never be a massive scorer because he is unselfish. He wants to get others easier buckets. If the "leaders" would actually defer to him more, their job would become easier. He would find them. But the pecking order is a real thing in TO.

I could not agree more with this post. I think that if Toronto did not have 4 players trying to get their bag, Barnes would be having a much better season.
Every time I watch Barnes play, I am more impressed than the last. I was not high on him coming out of college. I thought he played too high. I still think he plays too high, but he seems to be able to get away with it.

It's neither of these things. He's been playing like this all year long. He's just getting more shot opportunities now due to Mitchell being out.
Again, people, watch the games. Mobley's actually made a lot of improvements offensively this year and it's a shame people don't know that.

Ageee that he gets frozen out too much, Actually thought Fred did a great job moving the ball and making the right read. It was Pascal that got tunnel vision last night, trying to force the issue too much.

If the Raptors had Green at SG in their SL instead of GTJ or Barnes, they could be Top 6 in the East instead of 12th with his ability to put the ball in the basket.
No, he’s terrible. He’s a volume scorer with great dribble separation ability and an explosive first step. He doesn’t have any other NBA-calibre skills. Huge negative impact player and I don’t see his pathway to becoming a positive one, as he is in all likelihood a bottom 5 defender in the league among rotation players.

Cunningham was averaging 21-7-7 before he got injured and people are thinking he’s average. Lol. Guy is an elite IQ lead guard triple double threat. Recency bias is a b!tch but it is what it is.
