0/10 from three so far. Mostly open looks lol. Winning by 1 midway through the third.

Refs will not call Shai pushing off on every middle. It’s pretty obvious every time and he gets a lot of space with it

Another game that looked winnable. Okoro back to Bricking wide open corner 3s and the team looking disinterested at times to seize the opportunity. The energy is just not there at times for a team that should be so so hungry.

Didn't even watch the game but let me guess, team had no legs at the end of the game and that contributed to the loss?

Re: Game 51: Cavs @ Thunder 1/27/2023
A few observations: 1) Something needs to be done about the number of uncalled fouls of which Allen is the victim. Maybe they need to tell Fedor to ask JBB about it after every game. Maybe they need to tell Allen to respond in kind and start planting guys in the stands. Maybe Gilbert needs to write another open letter to the commissioner. But if the NBA is content with this nonsense, then we need to trade him, because there's little advantage to putting a taller player out on the floor, who not for nothing was an all star last year, when the other team can just shove him all over the place. I'm a broken record on this, but we don't let the slower players trip the faster ones. 2) Stevens and Cedi aren't good. 3) LeVert struggles against athletic teams with size. It's basically what he relies upon offensively. 4) Garland and Mobley are the future of the team and the team plays better when they don't feel the need to be highlight heros. Do you want to win, or do you want to have Bradley Beal's career?

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

My feeling is DG needs to somehow better balance his abilities as a distributor and a scorer. Only once it no longer mattered did he seem to get his 3pter dialed in. If he found the range sooner he might have carried us to the win.
Part of the problem is finding the range sooner, but even on a b2b I feel he can do it if he lets himself shoot in to rhythm.
But I suppose the temptation will always be there to blame hero ball or the lack there of after a loss ...

Probably need to stop resting Rubio and Mitchell on the same nights too. Having DG, Rubio, and Mitchell one night, then only having DG the next is a disadvantage. Make more sense to go DG and Mitchell one night then DG and Rubio the next.

Allen was gassed, but neither Garland nor Mobley made any effort to get him involved in the 4th quarter last night. When you're struggling offensively, maybe throw it down to your center on the block who's being guarded by someone 6 inches shorter. Mobley in particular was just looking to score regardless of what the defense was doing.
