With or without Wemby he’s going to be heavy favorite for the next couple years.

It’s not even guaranteed that the Wiz pick will land 1st so he took the safe route to secure a back to back chip. Nobody has ever repeated in BAF and he has pretty much secured it this year and very likely next year too.

No guarantees at anything but I did think my two biggest weaknesses was offensive rebounding and rim protection. I think I addressed them.

Sure it was at the cost of that pick but its under 30% odds to hit a top 2 pick. So no one was going to give Wemby or Scoot value for that pick when there is over a 70% odds it doesn't land there. I could have held it (which I was seriously considering) and in real life probaby was lower value then a pick like that would garner. But reall feel like the guys I added complement my team nice. As much as my starters dominant I feel like I have a big advantage depth wise as all my guys are uber productive in there roles.

As I stated before we 2010 along with a few GM's I had strong convos and I think he did his best to present me the things I was looking for. You remember when I reached out to you before you dealt a couple of your guys...very similar framework with what I accepted right?

I didn't know for sure but thought he might get routed somewhere else.

2010 had some good offers that tempted me... overall really tough to move him though, especially since i already had the Lauri deal

Ultimately I was looking for high EFF guy that can defend and rebound (more specifically OFF rebound). Giannis has given me so much trouble I never have guarded him with size so probably will throw Dray + Mitch on him at times.

The two big lineup worked well for me with Robert Williams and Wiseman. And It was killing it for E-balla this year with Harrell and Allen. So it won't be for a ton of minutes but matchup wise we will see some Mitch + Jokic lineups.

My observation is the sim seems to lag a year or two on raw production spikes or declines. This axiom has served me well but we shall see.

This going back to my first year with Pau who played like prime Pau in 2017. SGA this year when previous years would have supported a spike. Many others.

They literally base it solely off last year's numbers. You gotta find out exactly what numbers correlate to what but notice most of my predictions are on point. Some are way off, but it's never going to be 100% unless I actually was Gary lol.

As far as Pau goes he had a 22 PER and a 4.9 BPM in 2016. His peak PER is a 23 and his peak BPM is a 5.5. Yes he performed like prime Pau - statistically he was still just as good as in his prime according to the numbers they use.

When looking at whether or not a player will improve or decline I look at their production relative to their previous production. JB is having a down year in real life, he'll be lucky to not drop some in the sim.

Where are you getting this? I don't have any indication that they use rpm or anything of the like. Raw production seems tantamount.

You're forgetting league averages are up. That's adjusted in the sim engine not with ratings.

Scoring: 13th in PPG in 2022, 13th so far this year.
Rebounds: 45th in RPG in 2022, 42nd so far this year.
Assists: 61st in APG in 2022, 75th so far this year.

And I can keep going but I think you get it. His efficiency is up so he'll be more efficient, but again that's a league wide phenomenon.

Couldn't tell you and if it could idk what the use would be unless you recreate every team, trade, opposing lineup, strategy, coach, simulation settings, etc. Too many factors imo.

Unless I figured out a way to play MPH 82 times to analyze different strategies I don't think simming games is much help against human lineups, rotation, logic, and of course injuries.

But it's definitely not a down year with PER normalizing for league average. PER is up.
