That $25k fine is sure to deter teams from breaking these rules in the future.

Can anyone shed light on how exactky they failed to comply with the injury reporting rules?

Jimmy was not listed on the injury report the other day but then when it was time for the game he didn't play.

Thank you.
That does seem a rather egregious and unnecessary violation of rules, unless something really did come up last second.
Not difficult to put him on there with soreness or something if you are even considering giving him a rest day.

Does that mean Orlando gets the win?
Not sure how $25k is a strong deterrent, unless it come with a game loss.

It was actually for the Celtics game a few days ago. Butler was fine and going to play, but then they saw most of the Celtics rotation was out that game and just gave him a day off.

Which is pretty crappy for fans and the spirit of competition etc, and exactly what people are mad about right now.

What the hell is the point of this? Try 25,000,000.

I guarantee it won't ever happen again.

Heat are going to just start putting all players on the report as questionable like they did after the first fine.

With legalized gambling and the money involved I feel like the league is gonna have to invoke harsher punishments for these things in the future
