Tim Duncans of course. Duncans Spurs the only Western Conference team to stop Shaq and Kobe from getting 5 in a row. That along with their championships is more impressive than anything Lebron ever been a part of. Tim Duncan never had to leave to try to take the easy way out.
He created something in San Antonio that deserves way more love and respect.

A title does not represent a series. Indeed if it can be reduced to a single series that title wasn't impressive.
If this is in reference to the earlier series and saying that his performance and the competition wasn't that great that's fair to bring up but I think that generally speaking in such discussions the first two rounds aren't given near the emphasis that the last two rounds are nor should they be except in rare cases like the 95 Rockets run where they stand out for some reason. Him finishing the 2016 title with the finals he had against a 73 win team will always stand out as a great achievement. Again, first to win from a 3-1 deficit and first player to lead both teams in all major stats in a playoff series while playing tremendous defense. I think if any player besides LeBron had done that there would be no attempts to try and lessen it.
There also wouldn't be attempts to make it bigger than it is. Giannis led the Bucks back from a series deficit and scored 50 in the closer. Comparable.

This is somewhat subjective. Giannis' finals also is historical I would say. Relative to Duncan which is what the op is about, I think the 2016 finals obviously does stand out and is roughly equal to Duncan's 03 finals with the kicker being it came against a 73 win team compared to a 49 win one.

Sorry that facts hurt your brain.
He played with Love and Irving in Cleveland and AD in LA. He knew he would be playing with those two in Cleveland and he and Rich Paul colluded with Davis to get him to LA. Thought we went over this already.
I don’t know what point you’re trying to make. Yes, everyone needs other good players to win but going to Cleveland and the Lakers were far from the best situations.
If winning was all that mattered, why didn’t LeBron just go to the best team in the league. If he wanted to play with AD so badly, why didn’t LeBron just sign with the Pelicans?

Well seeing as LeBron has more FMVPs, is the better player and Duncan in fact was not the best player on all of his rings… I think we can eliminate that possibility. I’m glad you asked it as a question though and not a statement. It is fair that you simply did not know

Cleveland had Kyrie Irving and the #1 pick in the draft. You dont think thats a good situation to go too? Pelicans didnt have the cap space to sign him either. LA was a .500 team James first year in LA. Him and Rich Paul knew he wouldnt win there without another superstar. Cleveland was a good situation to go too. LA wasnt, but James and Paul made it a good situation by forcing a Davis trade. Thats my point.

The two Miami rings are not that impressive. He had Wade and Bosh. That Miami team in the bubble championship was pretty horrible. No Dragic and an injured Bam missed two games. Only impressive championship for James is 2016, and he had help. Kyrie balled out in that series 27/4/4 41% from 3. Yes James is a better player than Duncan, but Duncan was the heart and soul of that franchise for two decades. James is more of a mercenary focused on his legacy. I respect Duncans journey way more.

You think going to a bottom 5 team is a better situation than going to a top 5 team?

Cap space. James couldnt just go to any team unless he forced a trade there or signed for the mid level or something. A team has to have cap space to sign a player. He couldnt just leave Miami and go anywhere unless he wanted to take a massive paycut. Do you think James, Irving, and Love back in 2015/2016 would not be a good team? I mean with those three as your best players?

Every team would try to create cap space to sign LeBron, so he could've signed anywhere if he really wanted to but he wanted to sign with Cleveland specifically and he wanted to sign with the Lakers specifically. If those situations were so amazing, why weren't other free agents lining up to go to those franchises?
I don't think Kyrie and Love are better than Wade and Bosh. Kyrie and Love couldn't even sniff the playoffs before LeBron. I think LeBron could create a good team almost wherever he goes. Going to the worst teams in the league to try and build something from nothing is obviously not the most ideal situation.

Who was Kevin Loves best teammate in Minnesota? Who was Kyrie Irvings best teammate in Cleveland? Was LA good James first year in LA before they traded for Anthony Davis? Ill sit back and wait on your response to these three questions lol

Just sit this one out bro. Your bias is too strong to let you evaluate LeBron topics anywhere near objectively, so you'll just probably embarrass yourself.

Probably Duncan's 5....in the end LBJ's had the greater "career", which is really saying something because Duncan had one helluva career.

So while most players that want to win try to force themselves to successful teams, LeBron for some reason tried to force himself to bad teams that had assets. And he did this because he was ring chasing?
LeBron got injured in his first year in LA. They were a top 4 team in the West before he got hurt. And I don't even know what point you're trying to make here. That LeBron wanted to play with good players? The point is he wanted to play for the Lakers because he wanted to live in LA.
Love and Kyrie are not a better situation than Bosh and Wade. That's the point. He wanted to win in Cleveland. That was his primary reason for going to the Cavs. Not because they were the best situation for him to win a ring. lol

Wade and Bosh were not the same players in 2014 than they were in 2011/2012. Wade had knee issues and Bosh had a medical condition. Thats why James left Miami.
James played 55 games in LA his first year in LA. They were .500 in games he played that year.
He set himself up for a good situation in Cleveland and he couldnt win in LA without Davis. Sorry but this is the way it is. You never answered my questions either.
