If we somehow make it out of the East, please give us the Nuggets. They are all small guards, one dimensional shooters, and Jokic.

I understand why Jokic got the last two MVPs but Embiid is absolutely the better player when sharing the floor and he'll cook Jokic in a theoretical finals series.

Just finished watching the replay.

Such a great game! This is almost the perfect NBA game and you saw everything.

Two teams with a lot of offensive fire power. Man, Switch and Zone on defense. The power of the 1-5 2 man game.

We even saw how special Tucker is as a defender. He is a special defender if you ask him to defend primarily 5s and 1s it’s because the 1-5 PnR is the action that is toughest to defend

nuggets kept sending help on those Biid-Harden 2 man game, so Doc run a play where AG was alone in an island with Tobi with Biid popping to the corner. When AG came to help Biid, Tobi was wide open.

When Jokic was in an ISO against a smaller player we would transition into a zone. Something we learned from the Nets.

When Nuggets knew about this, Tobi then surprised Jokic with that steal that leads to the Maxey fastbreak/freethrow.

Nuggets was shooting the lights out but we can match them and even has more/better, even against anyone.

Then we’re just better late game. We’re better late game because of our experience in late game situations prior to this.

Hell of a first game to go to for my five year old! Hopefully I can get him hooked early.

Congrats to Yung Crevvy on his first game.

Yep, I believe Morey knows it and it's up to him now to do it.

As an outsider I have to ask, how do you know Reed isn't the answer when Doc doesn't give him adequate playing time?

I’m a Paul Reed fan and have to admit that he makes a ton of unacceptable mistakes. Like constantly. He’s a chaos player who sometimes changes the flow or nature of a game but will also always make baffling decisions and commit weird fouls or make confusing decisions about how to rotate or where to be on the court or when to go for a steal etc. As much as I hate Doc not playing him, the more objective part of me kinda understands.

Whatever matchup keeps Joel closest to the paint to protect the rim feels like the correct answer to me. Having a guy as stout as Tucker certainly helps make that more doable. We've seen them do it Harris in certain matchups in the past.

I hadn't really considered Denver as an option for it, but with Jokic dragging Jo out and carving them up with his passing in the first half, I get why they made the decision. Aaron Gordon isn't gonna kill you from outside if ignored.

Using Tucker to guard Jokic was one of the better adjustments I've seen Doc make since he's been coaching here. It worked, it allowed us to get back into the game. It also reinforces the yearning desire for us to acquire a hybrid 4/5 that can stretch the floor to pair with Embiid at certain times.

Lately Tobi has been trying to finish with his left. He’s been missing a lot but i dont mind him practicing with it.

It is very encouraging that Embiid, instead of moping, decided to go and kick Jokic's ass. Now if the big fella can stay off the DL in April and May, there might be something.

I would really like to see the Sixers go after another back up center.

I've been pounding the table for Chris Boucher, but he's probably not available. KJ Martin is a bit on the short side, but he's extremely active and athletic. Bringing Richaun Holmes back should be an option. Mo Bamba is available as well. I love Bol Bol, but I doubt Orlando is looking to deal him. But.... Ideally a player like Chris Boucher would be my top choice. Paul Reed would be the in house option, but he can't stretch the floor the way Boucher can.

His touch with his left looks shockingly bad for a 10 year NBA vet known for his scoring.

Yes, but context is everything. He's by no means your starting center/pf, we need him in a specific playoff role, and I think he could work well there. Everyone's talking about a backup center, but I don't know who would accept to come here and play such limited minutes, you could get either a young inexperienced guy or a washed up dude or a dude with a fatal flaw in his playoff game.

Well it shows how underrated he is even by Sixers fans, it's absolute madness really. That's why I have to defend him every single time I can, to offset how underrated he is, like what more does the man need to do?

Id personally vouch for either Zach Collins or Mike Muscala
