GT #50: Bullets @ Spurs 8 PM (NBCSW/980 AM)

YOUR Washington Bullets are 23-26!

All of a sudden, they've won 5 in a row. They're coming off a win against the Pelicans who were 4th in the West coming into that game but had lost 6 in a row.

On Monday night, the Bullets go to San Antonio. As we all know, they haven't won in San Antonio since December 1999.

The Spurs are all in the Wemby sweepstakes and my suspicion is that they'll win the lottery. Don't ask me why but my gut is telling me that. And if it does, I don't see Popovich retiring in that scenario.

The young Spurs are at the bottom of the league in ORTG and DRTG. Nevertheless, they've played some exciting games against the NBA's best.

Will the streak continue????

We are now the 9th seed and a game back of 8th (ATL), three games back of 7th (NY), and a game ahead of 12th. Right now a game separates us picking at 11th or 6th.

So as of right now, we play the Bulls for play-in, and if we win, we get to play Knick/Hawks. Depending on how that goes, if we win, we get the C's and if we lose, we get the Sixers?

C's are a juggernaut but Sixers? Doable. Then it's off against the winner of 3/6 (Bucks/Heat oof) in the second round? Nice little cinderella run.

Per 538, the Wizards are now projected at 40 wins, tied with the Raptors for the 9th place, with a 37% chance of making the playoffs..
