2ND Q: SPURS 55 WIZARDS 63

Another 60+ half given up on two 30+ point Qs.

End of Q details cost us here, as did their pace, too easy layups at our rim, and lax 3s contesting. Doug stood out as particularly bad in the latter.

We were 2-6 from 3 to their 4-8 again for 50% from the arc at the half.

We have six fewer attempts so their pace and our careless passing for too many weak TOs is hurting our cause. Five TOs this Q.

We were 7-18 in this Q. Maybe we can help ourselves with some more purposeful and energetic passing.

Sochan had 15 points after the 1ST Q and 15 points at the half on ONE attempt - FEED THE HOT HAND.

Get up the energy, run back on D, increase the physicality, keep it moving.

Our 1ST Q energy and enthusiasm has waned.

It's when our D breaks down that we've just had it covering for others' mistakes.

Just shocking how bad Keldon is on D. He's had some moments of right rotations when he sees the ball going to the guy in front of him but holy moly the lack of awareness most times.

AGAIN TWO Spurs go to the ball handler down low - that was a mistake by Malaki who should have covered the trailer who got the open pass and layin.

3RD Q: SPURS 87 WIZARDS 98

Well we caught up well enough and only lost the Q by 3 but we gave up another 30+ point Q.

Our s 3s just are not falling well we only made two of them this Q to their 6 made.

Too many points in transition, and too soft effort with some hands on hips and slung heads.

Sochan with the fourth foul hurt us. Shouldn't have been called on him.

We have to UP the intensity.
