I respect this a lot as well. Mine is quite similar as I'm pretty high on Walker but I do think Scoot is far and away the second best prospect in the class and I don't see anything in his game that should have problems translating.

I would personally replace Hendricks with Howard and Sensabaugh with George. Sensabaugh is talented but I'm just not sure who he's guarding at the NBA level. George has a Norman Powell-ish floor so I kinda like that as a safe bet.

Also I don't think Colby Jones gets enough love. He is going to be a steal late in the first round.

I flipped a coin on Howard and Sensabaugh. Both excellent scorers with questionable defense. I think Jett probably has it in him to be a better more neutral defender but there's an interesting uniqueness to Brice's game that allows me to envision him having a higher upside but a way lower floor.

Hendricks to me is similar to a Jaden McDaniels with less present handles but a better frame for adding weight to maybe guard up a position. If the handle doesn't fully come I can him developing into something like a Christian Woods stretch-4 with shot-blocking combo.

Boucher that's 2 inches taller, with handles!!! Love the intensity saving the ball out of bounds to his teammate for a layup!!!

I want Baba, Edey, Bates or Tubelis!

hopefully team just does a stealth tank and tries best as possible to increase odds for 1 or 2.

Scoot or Wemby would be grand slam adds for this team.

I think Scoot will be the best player in this class, so I disagree with putting him that low. He's putting up numbers against grown men versus the rest of this guy's in this class.

I'd probably also leave the Thompson twins out of my top 10. They're all potential but don't have much substance behind their names.

Everyone else I can sort of agree with although I'd probably re-order them. And I'd include Keyonte George.

I see how you got there. For me, if I'm picking in the 5-10 range, I'd like a guy who has star potential BUT also has a high floor. To me, Howard has a pretty high floor as an excellent shooter/secondary playmaker who can become at least passable on defense. I agree that Sensabaugh has a very unusual knack for scoring but if that doesn't translate then he's an end of the bench guy. That's why I'd go Howard over him.

As for small ball 5s - I've never really been a fan. I like my Cs around 6'10 and big enough to battle in the post. Obviously those guys don't grow on trees and I appreciate the match up advantage it can present when you go small but I feel that should be for shorter spurts. Otherwise your wings are taking a beating defending much bigger guys.

I do think the Hendricks - Wood comparison is solid though

This draft is interesting. Although I don't see a lot of superstars, I do see a lot of guys who can have long NBA careers and be solid/above average starters

I think the twins are super talented and athletic freaks but the more I watch it's just so hard for me to take that OTE league and competition serious

I like Jett and have him high on my board. His shot is the real deal and he's incredibly skilled offensively.....BUT, highlights can be deceiving. I watched this game and his defence was atrocious. Tentative. Soft. Lost. Slow. He's a freshman and tall, so there's room to grow, and he may become a passable team defender one day, but I suspect he'll be attacked on that end a lot (think Duncan Robinson) and the growing pains will be rough.

Would still draft him highly cause of just offensive potential alone, but he's more of a project than he's made out to be sometimes

Jett highlights are so enticing. But like you said, it's misleading. He's inconsistent as well. But the potential for growth is there. As of this very minute though, I just can't justify picking him over the likes of a Gradey Dick.

Need 2 lotto picks this year. George and Dick combo would be a great haul. If not Dick then Maxwell Lewis

Edit: Howard to that list

Idk what people see in Cam. Isn't super skilled off the dribble and isn't a top percentile athlete or shooter. I don't see him bodying grown men in the NBA like he does in college and his shot is shaky even though he does try contested 3's and such.

I think he's the Keon Johnson of this draft and will get drafted way lower than his mocks

Ideally getting another pick late lotto would be perfect
But if we get one and it's more in the 20+ range I'm looking at this guy

He's 4 inches taller, far stronger, and twice the shooter than Keon. Also strongly disagree on your assessment of his athleticism, and I absolutely see him moving bodies at the NBA level. He reminds me a lot of Jaylen Brown out of Cal. People were saying the same thing about him and his game before the draft as well, and there was even talk of him sliding. GMs aren't fools. When you have a tough nosed kid with size, athleticism, agressiveness, and the inkling of a game off the dribble, you take them.

Not sure if I was the highest on AJ Griffin in the thread, but I was def one of the highest. Think he's gonna be a stud once he gets healthier and more minutes. Shooting 49/41/91 albeit on low volume.
