I love how easy it is to forgive Jokic, but the moment Embiid has any problems, there's a giant microscope focusing in on him. As said before, the leash for Jokic is ridiculously long.

I said nothing about Embiid- he is a great player in his own right. He is a better scorer and defender than Jokic, while Jokic is a better passer.

If Denver won't find him help, especially a mobile defensive big and extra shot creator - yes, Denver(and Jokic) will get spanked in the playoffs.

Was Embiid ever exposed? Because I don't remember him ever being in the conference finals.

In fact, Jokic (4 years) has already played more game than Embiid (5 years) in the postseason and averaged more points/rebounds/assists/steals while Embiid has him beat in blocks and turnovers. Mr. thinking he's Hakeem Olajuwon also has shooting splits of 46.8/29.7/80.6 while Mr. exposed MVP shot 51.9/39.6/84.1.

I haven't mention advanced stats yet, just basic counting numbers. I know it must be difficult to play with all star teammates like Jimmy Butler & James Harden who can easily score 20 points with their eyes closed, so that may have severely hindered Embiid's development as a primary ballhandler and playmaker.

Less about saying something about Embiid, more about the claim that Jokic can't be exposed. Wasn't calling you out per say. Sorry if it seemed that way.

Jokic is an average at best defender, and can do a better job of taking over in games. These are some of his biggest weaknesses. Embiid's? Turnover's/injuries/passing.

Just because he takes more shots than Jokic  His scoring averages shrinks in the play off's while Jokic's increases. Jokic is the better shooter of two, has the better all around offensive game than Embiid.

Has a better shot of playing in the Finals than Embiid, so not too bad.

That was a bad lost , eagles hangover, lost focus after going up big. Still not sure how Embiid got exposed though  . 30/11/5/2 while in foul trouble. I guess Tatum and Brown got exposed too after loosing to the magic twice. The magic are a unique talented young team that can catch any team off guard if underestimated.

The nets loss to the sixers earlier this season without Embiid and Harden. I guess KD and Kyrie were exposed. Do you see how stupid you sound or are you a troll.

Lol no he doesn't. He's got a better shot of being out of the league, rather than going into the finals. I'd worry more about your Warriors even making the playoffs, instead of talking trash.

I’ll say is way more likely Embiid and Harden being injured right at the beginning of the playoffs than Ben being out of the league , odds is in Ben favor

Hard to expose Jokic when his playoff career averages are 26.4/11.5/6.4 on 52% FG, 40% 3pt, and 84% FT.

Compare that to his career season averages of 20.4, 10.1, and 6.5 on 55% FG, 34% 3pt, and 83% FT.

i mean Embiid hasn't done much in the playoffs either except doing the airplane. thats probably his career highlight(s) in the playoffs

they got Jamal Murray back this year and Porter Jr will probably play as well.

Denver was pretty banged up the last two years without some of their better support players in the playoffs.

To me the Nets when healthy look like the better team.

And it's all good man, polishing 4 trophies in the last 8 seasons.

I'd love to win again but I'm also quite happy. Hopefully someday Embiid and Harden get up off the floor and realize their potential.

Nuggets should be thankful these two teams are in seperate conferences becauses Embiid would cook him in any match up. Embiid made him look like a bench player.

Grow up dude. Jokic will soon be a 3xMVP.
3 consecutive times. With no stars around him.
That has nothing to do with conferences.
Jokic didn't even dress up against Giannis the other day. Because it doesn't matter. It's one game.
His playoffs appearances are better than his regular season but haters gonna hate i guess.

Some of you need to learn to appreciate greatness instead of being toxic for no reason.

His playoffs don't amount to much year in and year out. And the fact that he's a 2-time MVP, possibly going on 3, he should not be left off the hook. Lebron wasn't back in the early 00's despite him doing more with less than Jokic. Not sure why everyone is suddenly a Jokic fanatic now despite zero playoff successs. Also. There is nothing "toxic" about bringing light the short comings of your favorite guy. We're here to talk ball, not priase every single player without zero criticism being mentioned. Perhaps you need to revalute the points in the OP instead of catching feelings.

Kobe flamed out early (when he wasn’t missing the playoffs) as the only star. Meanwhile he was playing with guys like Odom.

Jokic took the Nuggets to the playoffs with Aaron Gordon and Will Barton and took a game off the eventual champs. Let that sink in.
